Although this advertisement comes from Australia, there is no reason why it couldn't apply to America as well, and it would certainly solve one huge problem that many Americans have, thinking. Let's face it, actually thinking and analyzing individual and societal problems can take a lot of time, not to mention the fact that it can be just plain boring, with a Fascist government, all of this is avoided, and you'll never be asked your input or opinion on anything the government decides to do ever again.
"If this were a dictatorship, it would be a heck of a lot easier, just so long as I'm the dictator"
George W. Bush
Now considering that America just finished their run with the proto-Fascist that lasted eight years quoted above, why not consider a full-blown Fascist-such as Mitt Romney or Mitch McConnell-in 2012? I can almost guarantee you, that if you elect one of these guys (with a little help from the Congress and Senate) you'll never have to worry about electing anyone again, and shortly after being elected (with assistance of those truest of true Americans, the police and military) you also won't have to worry about those pesky bills having to pass the House or the Senate to become law, because all representatives in the House and the Senate have been removed, there, problem solved!
And you gals out there, you can finally relax, and have the kind of worry free existence that your grandmother had in the 50s. Even if voting is not entirely done away with right away, it is for you, since you will no longer be allowed to vote, since you shouldn't have to worry your pretty little head over things which should not really concern you anyway! Since drivers licenses will no longer be issued to you (of course it's universally understood by men how bad drivers you are) you won't have to worry about picking up the kids from school, and speaking of school, if you're lucky enough to finish high school, that's far enough, you need to concentrate on your true and natural purpose in life, cooking and cleaning the home (don't forget to get that cat piss odor out of the carpet before your man he gets home) maintaining your trophy wife appearance (after all, a man wants something other Men will gawk at when you're out in public together) and making babies, and don't worry, now that Rove versus Wade is gone, and contraception is no longer available, you WILL be making lots of babies! there, that should keep you occupied! And you don't have to worry your pretty little head about where the money's coming from, the man of the house will do that, and if you treat him right in the evening (nudge nudge wink wink) he may even give you a bit of spending money all for yourself! You won't have to worry about fiddling with a lot of numbers to balance a checkbook, because since you cannot open or possess a checking account of your own, you don't have a checkbook to worry about! Only the man will be bothered with such arduous things, doesn't that sound great! Gee gosh, grandma must have had it so…. Swell! And soon, you will too!
Another problem overcome through Fascism, is the gay rights issue, how you say? Because there won't be any more gays! It'll be like magic! Almost overnight, they'll be no more gay clubs, no gay bars, no gay media personalities, celebrities nothing, homosexual men and women have simply ceased to exist, and since homosexuality no longer exist, there are no equal rights homosexual issues to be addressed, so there see, that issue was taken care of as well!
Obviously, one could go on and on describing the endless virtues and benefits of a Fascist society, but it's just something you're going to have to find out for yourself, all I can say is that if you have to make a long distance trip, or use a train to get anywhere, you'll be guaranteed to be on time, because if there's anything a Fascist loves, its efficiency, and being on time, and just like Italy's El duce (Mussolini) you can bet your ass the trains will be on time! I remain V.
To all vacuous villains disdain and dismay, remember remember, the 1st of May!

James O'Keefe, the controversial conservative activist and undercover-video maker, brought down NPR's CEO this week after releasing a "sting" video of an NPR fundraiser meeting with fake Muslim "donors." Now a video editor, having reviewed the full, two-hour film that O'Keefe also posted online, has done a close analysis showing that several key scenes were edited misleadingly, and quotes taken out of context, in the more-publicized short form of the video. Interestingly, the critique came from The Blaze—an online outlet from none other than conservative host Glenn Beck.
You can read the full post, with video clips, at The Blaze, but the highlights include:
* A quote in which Schiller seems to respond amusedly to a reference on the fake group's website to promoting Sharia law--"Really? That's what they said?"--is lifted from an entirely unrelated part of the lunch
* The edited video includes Schiller saying that liberals "might be more educated, fair and balanced" than conservatives; but it omits his saying that he used to be a Republican--and is proud of it--and a fellow NPR fundraiser defending conservatives, saying that she knows and went to school with highly educated conservatives.
* A one-minute stretch where the audio goes into a loop while the video keeps playing unaltered may be intentional, perhaps to omit dialogue; says Blaze, it "could be an actual glitch, though not one I've seen like this in 25 years of working with video editing"
* The edited video quotes Schiller saying that the Republican party has been "hijacked" by Tea Party conservatives, who he seems to describe as "racist"; the full video shows that--at least at the beginning of his quote--he is explicitly describing the views of wealthy Republican friends who voted for Obama

An independently produced documentary from Max Igan, covering controversial topics and important issues facing humanity. Max Igan (Pen Name) is an Australian researcher/ activist/ author.
From the Author Max Igan:
In this film I have attempted to explain to you, the real structure of this reality, the nature of energy and of the light and sound that make up this entire universe and everyone and everything contained within it. I have attempted to show you that this understanding is supported both by ancient traditions and also by modern science.
I will say to you again now that all that actually exists within this or any other reality is pure conscious energy. That is truly all there is and the stuff this energy is made from is pure unconditional love.
I bring this message to you now because it is important that you receive it. The Earth and all that live upon it are about to undergo some very significant changes but these changes are nothing to be feared for once you have gained a clear understanding of what this reality truly is; once you have gained knowledge of how the true stuff of the universe actually works; Once you have realized your connection to all people and to all things and follow the path of the one universal law, then what is there to fear? What is there to hate? What is there to judge?
Understand that the life we are experiencing within this reality is a game of free will being played out by a single consciousness of which we are all merely frequencies.
Tune into that space behind your eyes.
Realize that to make it through the coming changes, all you really need do is to move into your heart; to realize that all that actually exists within this reality is energy consisting of nothing more than pure and unconditional love. Embrace it, become it, for it is what you are made of.

Have you ever thought to stop and think what taxation really is?
Taxation is nothing but theft. Why? Because it is not voluntary. Taxation is extortion at gunpoint! If you do not hand over money, men in costumes, with signs and guns will come and arrest you and throw you in a cage. If you still refuse to pay and you own property, the government will more than likely cease that property and sell it.
Working for the benefit of others against your will is nothing but slavery. When money is stolen from you in the name of taxation, the government is forcing you to work against your will for them. When you let the government steal from you, you are their slave. The injustice of seizing by force the fruits of a person’s labor is never considered by those who push taxation and redistribution, that is because slavery cannot be justified.
Government is nothing but force. It holds a legal monopoly to use violence on you. Government makes people do things that they don't want to do, stops people from doing things that they do want to do, and those demands are always backed up by police with guns.

Who watches the watchers?
That existential question is not one that Republican Rep. Darrell Issa (Calif.), the chairman of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, had hoped to be asking himself just a few months into his job as the self-declared lead investigator of the Obama administration.
But that was before a young Issa press aide named Kurt Bardella agreed to share private correspondence between himself and reporters covering his boss with New York Times reporter Mark Leibovich, who is writing a book on the culture, such as it is, of Washington.
When the news of Bardella's information-sharing went public, Issa conducted a (very) brief internal investigation before announcing that no sensitive documents related to the committee's work had been compromised and that, by the way, Bardella was fired.
While Issa sought to portray the incident as evidence of his decisiveness and zero-tolerance policy, even with his own staff, it's clear that the congressman either ignored or missed major warning signs when it came to Bardella.
There was the recent New Yorker profile of Issa in which Bardella, 27, described most reporters as "lazy as hell" and displayed supreme confidence about his ability to place stories favorable to his boss in almost any major news media outlet.
Or the bizarre mix-up when the Daily Beast's Howard Kurtz wrote an entire story in which he repeatedly quoted Issa - except it was Bardella he had spoken to on the phone. Yes, you read that right.
It's hard to believe that Issa, who has been around politics for quite some time - he was the lead agitator and sunk $200 million of his own money into the effort to recall then-California Gov. Gray Davis (D) in 2003 - didn't know that Bardella was a bit of a wild card.
The more plausible explanation is that Issa gave the ambitious and aggressive Bardella too long a leash because he knew that the flack could win him the sort of publicity he wanted and needed to emerge as President Obama's lead antagonist.
And Issa was right. Until he wasn't.
Darrell Issa, for having to turn your investigative fervor on your own office, you had the Worst Week in Washington. Congrats, or something.By Chris Cillizza

Among many other shocking disclosures, a series of 8,500 documents released by the British National Archives have revealed that many Brits feared a devastating alien invasion back in 1967.
As Reuters is reporting, the 35 previously classified files -- available online -- mainly cover the period from 1997 to 2005. Included are photographs, sketches and detailed accounts of flying saucer sightings, along with correspondence between the U.K. Ministry of Defense and witnesses.
"It was a large cigar-shaped vehicle with big projectiles on each side like wings," one man details in a 1998 account. "It seemed to have two very bright lights at the front and a white light flashing round and round underneath. ... As you can imagine, I felt quite shaken."
As the Independent reports, the extra-terrestrial files are a testament to how the massive global phenomenon was discussed at the highest level of government and security services worldwide. Also among the more prominent revelations are messages from the British Government to the Prime Minister of Grenada to response to that nation's attempts to sponsor a debate on UFOs at the United Nations in 1977-78, CBS reports.
The documents also reportedly detail how the government began making official inquiries into UFOs starting in 1950, following a series of reported sightings. The Ministry of Defense even set up a secret working group called the "Flying Saucer Working Party" to monitor the sightings, though the organization remained secret until 1988 when correspondence between Winston Churchill and the Air Ministry was revealed.
Other materials, however, suggest that the UFO craze has receded as of late, with sightings having dropped from a peak of 609 in 1996-97 to a measly 130 per year between 2001 and 2006. British defense officials are also reported to have discredited claims made by author Philip Corso in the popular 1997 book The Day After Roswell, noting that the retired U.S. colonel was not a reliable source of information.

(CNN) - Rep. Paul Broun, the Georgia Republican who is among President Obama's biggest critics in the House, faced a startling question from a constituent at a town hall Thursday evening: "Who is going to shoot Obama?"
According to the Athens Banner-Herald, the question was the first the congressman faced at the gathering and the comment drew laughter from the crowd. Broun did not exactly denounce the comments, according to the paper.
"The thing is, I know there's a lot of frustration with this president," he said in response. "We're going to have an election next year. Hopefully, we'll elect somebody that's going to be a conservative, limited-government president … who will sign a bill to repeal and replace Obamacare."
Threats made against the president can constitute a federal crime, punishable by five years in prison or a $250,000 fine.
Jessica Morris, a spokeswoman for Broun, told the newspaper that the question was "inappropriate" and said the congressman "moved on." Morris was not immediately available for further comment Friday morning.
Broun drew national attention last month when, live tweeting during President Obama's State of the Union Address, wrote among other criticisms, "Mr. President, you don't believe in the Constitution. You believe in socialism."
Broun also apologized in 2008 when he likened then-President elect Barack Obama to Adolf Hitler.
"You have to remember that Adolf Hitler was elected in a democratic Germany. I'm not comparing him to Adolf Hitler. What I'm saying is there is the potential," he said told an interviewer at the time.'

WASHINGTON -- Senate Democrats took some shots at House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio) Thursday for leaving town and playing a round of golf while congressional negotiators work to avoid a government shutdown.
Boehner was on a fund-raising trip to Florida during this week's congressional recess, and on Wednesday reportedly hit the links at "an undisclosed course in Sarasota." This prompted a bit of snark from Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid's (D-Nev.) Twitter handlers, who asked the Speaker for his score.
The Republican National Committee quickly noted that President Barack Obama was set to go to Florida in early March for a fundraiser with Democratic Sen. Bill Nelson. That's a valid point, but as a Senate Democratic Leadership aide pointed out, in the run up to the last government shutdown in 1995, Boehner criticized then-President Bill Clinton for playing a round while Congress continued its work.
"Now is the time, not to play golf as the president did yesterday, now is the time to act. The president has talked about balancing the budget," Boehner said at the time. "But so far, the president has offered no leadership and the president has offered no plan."
Of course, as Boehner's office noted, the next move is Reid's, as "the House had done its job and passed legislation to fund the government for the remainder of the year." That response casts Boehner's trip more as a negotiating tactic than as a quick jaunt to sunny Florida. Then again, Obama's own golfing habits have served as frequent fodder for his conservative critics.
Lest someone question whether Boehner was even golfing in the first place, Jeremy Wallace, the Herald-Tribune's political writer who broke the piece, told The Huffington Post exactly how he got the story.
"I had three very good sources who backed it up," Wallace said, adding that the night before he had gone to the fundraiser Boehner attended looking for a comment. "He ignored me and walked past me and the some donor said, 'Don't worry, you can catch him on the golf course tomorrow.'"WASHINGTON -- Senate Democrats took some shots at House Speaker John Boehner (R-Ohio)... more

A lawsuit alleged that Fox News CEO Roger Ailes pressured former publisher Judith Regan to lie to federal investigators during their investigation of former New York City police commissioner Bernard Kerik—and that Regan recorded the conversation, the New York Times reported Thursday.
The charges actually stem from an affidavit filed in a lawsuit against Regan by her lawyers—an affidavit which was only made public because of a court oversight. Regan had made similar allegations in a separate wrongful termination suit she filed against News Corp.--the parent company of both Fox News and Harper Collins, where she was fired in 2006 after a scandal surrounding a book by O.J. Simpson--but the identity of the person she said told her to lie about an affair she'd had with Kerik had not been revealed until now.
According to the Times, Regan alleged that she recorded a telephone call between her and Ailes, where he told her to keep her affair quiet from federal investigators, lest the resultant publicity hurt the presidential bid of Rudy Guiliani, Kerik's close ally. Guiliani is also very close to Ailes--among other things, he officiated at Ailes' wedding.
In one part of the affidavit, one of Regan's lawyers, Seth Redniss, talks about "a recorded telephone call between Roger Ailes, the chairman of Fox News (a News Corp. company) and Regan, in which Mr. Ailes discussed with Regan her responses to questions regarding her personal relationship with Bernard Kerik."
In a statement to the Times, News Corp. did not deny that Ailes was on the recording, but said that the company had a letter from Regan "stating that Mr. Ailes did not intend to influence her with respect to a government investigation."
The Times speculates that the existence of the recording may be one reason that News Corp. settled very quickly with Regan in early 2008, giving her a $10.75 million payout.A lawsuit alleged that Fox News CEO Roger Ailes pressured former publisher Judith... more
