The Tramp - Charlie is a tramp on the road. A hobo manages to exchange Charlie's sandwich for a brick so Charlie must eat grass. The same hobo molests a farmer's daughter; Charlie comes to aid with the help of the brick. When two more hobos show up Charlie throws all three into a lake. Giant creatures that look something like a cross between a leech and and an octopus, minus the arms, rise out of the Florida swamps to grab a snack. Steve, the good looking game warden, begins an investigation after people begin dissappearing and strange tales of some kind of bizarre creature in the swamps begin to go around the nearby swamp community. The local sheriff doesn't believe any of it and will have no part in the investigation, which leaves Steve, his girlfriend Nan and her father Doc to investigate it on their own. The movie has a sub-plot as well. Dave, the fat general store owner has a beautiful young wife named Liz who also happens to be a complete shrew, and an unfaithful one at that. She has an affair with Cal and when Dave finds out, bad things happen.

The Bird with the Crystal Plumage, or L'Uccello dalle Piume di Cristalloalso in Italian, known as The Gallery Murders starring Tony Musante, and written and directed by one of the greats - Dario Argento. Sam Dalmas (Tony Musante) is an American in Rome, who witnesses a murder attempt by a mysterious man in a dark coat, but he is helplessly behind glass doors, and can do nothing. The woman lives, but the serial killer is still on the loose. The police investigation is at a dead end, so Sam does a little sleuthing himself and finds out some key clues in this twisted murder mystery.

The 2006 West 49 Canadian Open presented by Xbox visited Hamiltons Copps Coliseum for the first time September 29-October 1, and more than 16,050 fans, along with 80,000 fans at home watching, helped make it the most successful year in the events five-year history.
Canadian Pierre Luc Gagnon took home top prize in the KD Quarter Pipe Best Trick competition on Sunday afternoon, beating out Buster Halterman and upcoming star Rob Lorifice. Last years champion Greg Lutzka won the Billabong Street Course competition with his great use of every feature on the Spinworks designed course. Rounding out third was Dennis Busentitz from CA who has been rising up the World Cup rankings with a recent good finish at Slam City Jam.
