Lynn Hershman Leeson ("Conceiving Ada," "Teknolust") was at the epicenter of the feminist art revolution in the 1960s and has never stopped chronicling it's evolution. Now armed with over 40 years of interviews and archival footage, Leeson in her new film "!Women Art Revolution" provides names, places, dates and times that up until now have been missing from art history. Before this film many artists like Ana Mendieta, Howardena Pindell and Rachel Rosenthal would have been forgotten. Today Leeson insures that they did not live, work and create in vain.

In my humble opinion, his last two seasons in Paris outclassed all of the other Designers’ Women Collections by a long shot.I have been observing the evolution of Haider Ackermann for several seasons, as he is... more

Any film with the moxie to be entitled “I Am Love” (“Io sono l’Amore”) clearly has notions of some sort of grandeur. Though it takes a fair portion of this subtly affecting feature before it’s evident just what those notions might be, by the time of its rousing finale, Love -- the emotion as well as the film -- has indeed proven to be Grand.Any film with the moxie to be entitled “I Am Love” (“Io sono... more

From the IndieWire article:
"The Guardian has reported that actress Tilda Swinton and film critic Mark Cousins have officially announced the follow-up to last year’s “Ballerina Ballroom Cinema of Dreams” - a film festival they created in a former ballroom in Nairn, Scotland, complete with beanbags for seats and free entry if you brought cake. The new event will be titled “A Pilgrimage,” and, as Swinton hinted at an indieWIRE talk during the Tribeca Film Festival, this year’s event will be mobile, literally.
For eight and half days beginning August 1st, Swinton, Cousins and their team will tour with a huge 80-seat, 37 tonne cinema, decorated to resemble a Christmas tree bauble, through remote communities in Northern Scotland."From the IndieWire article:

Everyone dresses up for Brad Pitt... but he only has eyes for his Angela!
Hollywood beauties shone on the red carpet in Los Angeles last night for the premiere of Brad Pitt’s new film ‘The Curious Case of Benjamin Button’.
Jennifer Lopez (39), Eva Longoria (33) and his co-star Cate Blanchett (39) were looking particularly glamorous as they met Brad (44), who stars in the film.
But he only had eyes for one woman – his wife and soul mate Angelina Jolie (33). She beamed happily at him, and he smiled back mischievously.
It was perhaps the sweetest Brangelina outing this year. Other actresses including Tilda Swinton (48), Emma Roberts (17) and Julia Ormond (43) had no choice but to pose by themselves!
