Wednesday, October 22, 2008. Last night’s countdown was a peek into the world of sex workers from around the world. This is inspired by news that San Francisco residents will vote in November on a proposition that would decriminalize prostitution in the city. While prostitution would remain illegal statewide, if passed, this measure would eliminate the power of local law enforcement officials to go after prostitutes. San Francisco would become the first major US city to pass such a measure.
