From the "You gotta be kidding me" department.
I guess the Catholic Church doesn't have any real work to do -- like saving souls or, I dunno, cleaning up its own house.
Catholic bishops announce they have opened an investigation into the Girl Scouts for possibly advocating immoral policies to children, or having alliances with "immoral" groups such as Planned Parenthood.

Okay, so I know Barbie was never exactly a sterling role model for young girls everywhere. (And no, let's not talk about how many of the stupid dolls i owned.) But, um, this? This is just taking things too far. Palm Beach Sugar Daddy Ken.
I hate to say it, but please, won't someone think of the children?

This is exactly why I LIVE!!
Yes its true stylist to the stars Rachel Zoe put a hault on the production of 25 limited edition t-shirts by chrise suave. (http://www.chrissauve.com/) saying that he is illeagally creating these 25 t-shirts since she trademarked the phrase "I DIE" and "BANANAS". A Queensland man has been charged for re-publishing on a video-sharing site a viral video of a man swinging a baby around like a rag doll.
The controversial three-minute video had already been published widely across the internet and shown on American TV news shows. The clip can still be found online today.
Chris Illingworth, 60, a father of four from Maroochydore, thought he would share it with fellow users of Liveleak, a site similar to YouTube but focused on news and current events. In two years, he has uploaded hundreds of videos to Liveleak.
His home was raided on Sunday, November 30, by Queensland Police from Task Force Argos, which specialises in combating child pornography and child groomers.
He was charged with using the internet to access and publish child-abuse material and is scheduled to appear in court in Maroochydore on December 18.A Queensland man has been charged for re-publishing on a video-sharing site a viral... more

D'Zhana Simmons says she felt like a "fake person" for 118 days when she had no heart beating in her chest. "But I know that I really was here," the 14-year-old said, "and I did live without a heart."
As she was being released Wednesday from a Miami hospital, the shy teen seemed in awe of what she's endured. Since July, she's had two heart transplants and survived with artificial heart pumps — but no heart — for four months between the transplants.
Last spring D'Zhana and her parents learned she had an enlarged heart that was too weak to sufficiently pump blood. They traveled from their home in Clinton, S.C. to Holtz Children's Hospital in Miami for a heart transplant.
But her new heart didn't work properly and could have ruptured so surgeons removed it two days later.
And they did something unusual, especially for a young patient: They replaced the heart with a pair of artificial pumping devices that kept blood flowing through her body until she could have a second transplant.
Dr. Peter Wearden, a cardiothoracic surgeon at Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh who works with the kind of pumps used in this case, said what the Miami medical team managed to do "is a big deal."
"For (more than) 100 days, there was no heart in this girl's body? That is pretty amazing," Wearden said.D'Zhana Simmons says she felt like a "fake person" for 118 days when... more

Michael Vick lives in a prison in Kansas, making 12 cents an hour while plotting his return to the NFL. His houses and farms will soon be gone, the two yachts are history, and he’s down to his last couple of Range Rovers.
A race horse he bought for $60,000 died of colic, the Atlanta Falcons are still trying to hit him up for millions they paid him, and the IRS and the state of Georgia want nearly $1 million in back taxes.
In 2006 he made nearly $15 million. Recently he reported total income of $12.89 for an entire month.
That’s $12.89 as in 12 dollars and 89 cents. This from someone who, before things went terribly bad, categorized a $1,000 check to his mother as “chump change.”Michael Vick lives in a prison in Kansas, making 12 cents an hour while plotting his... more

Back in February, SI's Chris Ballard wrote a story about a post-Wizards era Michael Jordan that received a bit of attention. As the story went, some mutual fund CEO named John Rogers Jr. had beaten Jordan in a game of one-on-one at the legend's high-end "Flight School" camp in Las Vegas. According to Ballard, there were one-handed runners and flip-shots and even Damon Wayans. It was quite the tale. And today, thanks to The Wall Street Journal, we finally have video footage.Back in February, SI's Chris Ballard wrote a story about a post-Wizards era... more
