In 1993, in response to public outcry created by Oliver Stone's film JFK, Congress passed the JFK Act, a law requiring federal agencies to release all the remaining withheld evidence relating to the assassination of President John Fitzgerald Kennedy. While some pretend the case is closed, the case can never be closed so long as the documents pertaining to the assassination and the investigations that followed remain locked away from public scrutiny.

On Nov 26, 1963, President Johnson signed a National Security Action Memorandum #273, the highest level national security document, as guidance for future Vietnam plans and policy. This brief directive most significantly initiated changes reversing Kennedy's Vietnam policy of NSAM #263, Oct 11, 1963. The British government has charged that the riots are being caused by an increase in "criminality". This is patently ridiculous. What is the difference in London or Manchester now than last year? If these riots are presumed to be the act of "criminals", then what triggered these "criminals" to riot? If "criminality" is the reason why people are on the streets destroying neighborhoods and looting shops, why is it happening all over the country?
