Scottish indie rockers Franz Ferdinand have revealed plans to officially release a dub version of their latest studio album Tonight: Franz Ferdinand.
Releasing a dub version of an album is no new thing, but something that can defintiely pay dividends, Roots Manuva dropped a dub version of the seminal 'Run Come Save Me' album (entitled 'Dub Come Save Me') and it was highly regarded amongst many.
Speaking to NME, Franz Ferdinand lead man Alex Kapranos explained that the dub version was his preferred way of listening to the album, saying "What you're hearing is Franz Ferdinand through Dan's filter. There's a lot of his personality in there and a lot of his own experimentation too."
