Channel 4 and Nerdbanite have just launched a new web project entitled "What is Music?", asking contributors to answer just that in wonderfully shot interviews.
"What Is Music’s goal is to express the notion of music at a personal level, with contributors being asked the question, “what is music?”. Talent from across London’s diverse urban music culture have contributed through featuring in interviews, recording exclusive influences mixes and also creating one off art pieces. What Is Music? will continue to grow to produce an evolving collage of expression for London’s ever-changing music scene."

Founded during the summer of 2000, the Planet of the Drums is the alliance of four of America's most popular drum and bass DJ's: AK1200 (Dave Minner, Orlando, Florida), DJ Dara (Darragh Guilfoyle, Brooklyn, New York), Dieselboy (Damian Higgins, Brooklyn, New York), and MC Messinian (James Fiorella, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania). The alliance was created to move drum and bass out of siderooms and onto the main stages of electronic dance music events.
In fall 2009 the Planet of the Drums embarked on their Tenth Anniversary Tour. The Planet of the Drums is the longest running annual national electronic dance music tour of any genre.

Well, not so much the jungle but The Eden Project in Cornwall.
Reports confirm that this year's South West Drum and Bass Awards are to be held at the Eden Project, the first gig of its kind to be played at the venue.
"We are taking over the whole site, creating four different arena’s for different styles of music. It’s an early start but this type of event won’t be happening again this year so easily falls into the ‘must attend’ category." they tell us.
On the line up is Andy C, Grooverider and Krafty Kuts, but the kids can only party in the biodomes until 9pm.
Still, jungle in the jungle = \0/Well, not so much the jungle but The Eden Project in Cornwall.
