Maria Guzman Hernandez, 32-year-old sixth-grade teacher has been accused of engaging in a sexual affair with a 15-year-old boy.
It is alleged that a sexual relationship between Hernandez and the boy existed for months and boy's mother knew about their relationship.
Rumors about Hernandez repeatedly having sex with a 15-year-old student began circulating at the school around May 20. DCF's abuse hot line received a report about the teacher student sexual relationship last Friday, and police were notified. Police had to delay questioning Hernandez regarding the alleged illicit relationship as she was out of town, vacationing at Disney World with the alleged victim.
When Hernandez returned from the trip, she admitted to Hialeah police she'd had sex with the 15-year-old and was charged with sexual battery on a child over whom she had custodial authority, a charge similar to statutory rape.
The boy's mother, who acknowledged to both police and Department of Children & Families investigators that she approved of the relationship, is under investigation by both agencies for permitting the teen to have a months-long affair with the teacher, and for consenting to the theme park trip. It was teen boy's room in his home he shared with his mother where Hernandez perfomed sex acts on the victim and had multiple sexual intercourses with him.
Hernandez, who is estranged from her husband, told DCF investigators ''she was going through a lot in her life,'' said Jacqui Colyer, chief of the Miami DCF office. Tracy Conley pleaded guilty to reduced charges stemming from sex acts underage, ages 13 and 14. Judge Charles Pater sentenced Conley to 90 days in the Butler County Jail. Conley was also sentenced to three years of community control and ordered to register as a sex offender.
The charges alleged that Conley engaged in a sex act with boys, ages 13 and 14, on Dec. 31, 2007, and between May 15 and May 31, 2008. She pleaded guilty to two counts of attempted unlawful sexual conduct with a minor, a fifth-degree felony, on April 7 a week before her trial.

Jennifer Lynn Wills, 30-year-old Gresham woman has been arrested for allegedly abusing teens and giving them marijuana and alcohol in exchange for sex. Police say Wills befriended 15- and 17-year-old boys and girls in the neighborhood, gave them pot and booze, and then sexually abused them.
Jennifer Wills was arrested April 8th and charged with six counts of Sex Abuse, three counts of Contributing to the Sexual Delinquency of a Minor, three counts of Delivery of Marijuana to a Minor and an additional three counts of Delivery of Alcohol to a Minor.
Wills was lodged at the Multnomah County Detention Center on $137,500.00 bail.
According to investigators, Gresham Police were first alerted when two victims of Ms. Well's came forward describing her practice of giving drugs and alcohol not only to them but other juveniles as well. Sex from the victims was later either expected or demanded by Ms. Wells.
Five victims have been identified so far, however investigators believe there are many additional victims. Angela Groesbeck, 27-year-old local woman from Laurel, Delaware, has been arrested for allegedly engaging in sex with three teen boys. She faces five counts of third-degree rape and eight counts of second-degree unlawful sexual contact with two 14-year-old boys and a 15-year-old boy.
The investigation began on March 12 when the mother of a 15-year-old boy was viewing her son’s My Space account and discovered some alarming statements on the account. The mother found a conversation on the site that insinuated her son was sexually involved with an older woman. The mother learned from her son that this person was Angela Groesbeck and that she was a neighbor of the boy’s father who lived at a separate location in Laurel. Police conducted and interview with the victim discovered that the pair reportedly had sexual relations in February.
As investigators continued the investigation, they discovered that Groesbeck also had sexual relations with two other juveniles. In this case, detectives learned she reportedly engaged in elicit sexual conduct with two 14-year-old Laurel boys on several occasions for almost e year, March 21, 2008 and Feb. 28. Melissa Burr, 31, and Janie Courson, 27,are accused of raping several little boys. According to Jefferson County police, the crimes happened in a home along Brown Street in Reynoldsville.
Police have filed several sex-related charges against the pair who is involved in a romantic relationship with each other.
The charges stem from alleged incidents that occurred between Jan. 1, 2008, and March 27, 2008. Police say there are four young boys involved in this case. They are between the ages of five and ten.
Burr and Courson are charged with four counts of rape of a child; statutory sexual assault; involuntary deviate sexual intercourse with a child; sexual assault; aggravated indecent assault of a child; indecent exposure; indecent assault; and corruption or minors.Melissa Burr, 31, and Janie Courson, 27,are accused of raping several little boys.... more

Trishana Broussard, 36-years old Huntington woman who was already charged this week with having sexual relations with two 16-year-old boys may be facing additional charges. According to police, Broussard may have additional charges of sexual assault of a child filed against her after additional allegations of sexual relationships with more teenage boys have come out since her Sunday arrest and are under investigation.
The police chief said for the past several months he has been investigating allegations made by several parents around town. "I've seen it happen numerous times, but never had so many victims. Allegedly we're looking at at least eight to ten others".
In one case, a parent of one of the boys allegedly found more than 100 "inappropriate" text messages being exchanged between their child and Broussard. One of the boys told investigators in an interview that Broussard allegedly performed oral sex on him and they also had sexual intercourse. The other one that Broussard had taken to him a cemetery and performed oral sex on him.

Julie Pritchett, a married 34-year-old special education teacher at Clay-Chalkville Middle School, was first arrested in June 2008 for allegedly committing sex crimes against two male students. Authorities said that other students also had sexual contact with Pritchett but she wasn't charged because the boys were over the age of consent (16). Allegedly Pritchett was sexually involved with at least eight male high school students ages 15 to 19 between February and April of this year.
On November 7th, a grand jury indicted Julie Pritchett on two counts of second-degree sodomy and one count of second-degree sexual abuse. The grand jury indictment alleges the sexual abuse of them 15-year-old male victims. The grand jury indictment was issued on 11/07/08 it was not make public until 12/05/08.
Pritchett sponsored hostesses for the Clay-Chalkville High School baseball team, called the Diamond Dolls. While she held the position, she became reacquainted with some of her former students who were active in the sports program. Pritchett began having sex with a 15-year-old boy in february and soon approached other members of the team and during the followin gweeks she had sex with at least seven of his friends. All of the incidents were initiated by the former teacher and several happened on school grounds. Other sex acts took place at victims' homes while their parents were out.
Investigators say there may be even more victims they have not yet identified.
