"G4tv.com will be streaming the entirety of Sony's GDC Press Conference starting at 7PM ET
on Wednesday, March 10 on this very page. Go ahead and bookmark it now.
What does Sony have up their collective sleeve? We could see some possible game announcements, and a new demonstration of their new motion controller, but the only way to find out for sure is to tune in and watch it unfold live...so...do that.
Attack of the Show will be the only exclusive television coverage and will be breaking in live to the press event as well on Wednesday, March 10 at 7PM ET. If you feel like watching some of the press conference on your TV, then G4 once again has you covered. You're welcome."

I'm a PhD researcher in Computer Science, and I research game technology at the Expressive Intelligence Studio (http://eis.ucsc.edu/). I get to experience games from the science to the consumption, and there is a lot that most people don't get to see. No event captures the communities behind the products better than the annual Game Developers Conference (http://www.gdconf.com).
People from all different vocations from all over the world at all different points in their career gather for one week to discuss innovations and future directions of video games. There is so much collaboration and sharing of creative and expressive endeavors through interactive media, and at GDC, you get to meet people from all the big companies as well as the independent developers. It's a diverse and friendly community of creative thinkers, artists, musicians, programmers, designers, and so much more.
This video follows the story of the game developer community and shows the faces behind the products. These faces are diverse in gender, race, nationality, profession, and age, all advancing the forefront of video games. Hopefully, seeing games as more than just consumable products helps to show the amazing process that goes into creating them.
I've dedicated my career towards researching and developing technology on the expressive potential of interactive media. For more information about the significance, future directions, and the inevitably magnificent technology of video games see my blog post: http://www.delawarereclaim.com/2010/02/24/video-games-rated-m-for-mature/I'm a PhD researcher in Computer Science, and I research game technology at the... more

If you havent heard about the game FEZ you need to get your indie games radar adjusted because over the past year this game has become the darling of the indie games scene. Its a 2D and 3D platformer that changes they way you view platforming games. By flipping the world you can find new pathways and doors as you try and progress through the levels. A little bit of Paper Mario and a little bit of Echochrome but all its own and unique style that is truly unlike anything Ive played before. It won Excellence in Visual Art at last years IGF awards and with its quirky pop style no one was surprised. Not to be overlooked is the soundtrack which is composed by 8bit artist Jason Degroot. Im lucky I got to play it last year and ever since then Ive been dying to get another chance with it...this latest trailer has got me drooling all over again!
No release date or platform has been announced yet.

Hey everyone, just popping in real quick after the Nintendo keynote to say hi. The big announcement was Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks for DS which will be out later this year. Few other announcements include some Final Fantasy games for WiiWare and some updates to the Wii Menu itself that will allow you to download and store more games. Oh and the keynote took a page from Oprah and gave everyone copies of Rhythm Heaven for DS which is a funky series of rhythm based mini games. I'll have a more detailed write up shortly but for now....back to the show floor! If theres anything you want us to check out, any questions you have for anyone or anything youd like to see please let me know in the comments. We'll be filming it all and have it up for your viewing pleasure later.Hey everyone, just popping in real quick after the Nintendo keynote to say hi. The big... more
