Much has been written, even a well argued post here, about the question of the precise aspects needed to sustain life on this planet. More to the point,
It is beyond comprehension that this status has been maintained for billions of years without intelligent intervention to keep the systems within a life-sustaining range.
Those arguing against such a proposition say that it is just so. Others suggest that this is flawed logic. One commentor said that we have had a least 4 near wipe-outs of life, but life came back.
Call the following a falacy if you like. However:
1. With so many mindless species having lived and gone extinct, how is it that none has ever been so successful at destroying other life that all but its own species was destroyed, leaving it with no food supply?
2. How is it that nature has such balance that even in the most inhospitable places, life finds a way?
3. How is it that life did recover from the 4 great catastrophes that we believe may have destroyed up to 96% of life?
4. Why life at all? Doesn't it appear that there is something about life which has a huge drive to survive? What is that about? In humans, we have self awareness that might cause us to want to keep living for the things we desire, even in the face of great difficulty. But why does a cockroach have that built into him? What is the source of that drive?
If I was playing serious money poker with you, and you were dealt two straight flushes in a row with no draw, I would want to find out what "magic" you possessed. You could tell me until the end of time that you just got lucky, but I'd never quite believe it, no matter how much evidence there was to back up your claim.(THIS EARTH WILL SHAKE US OFF, like flies on a dog..)

The young man simply could not believe that all that chanting and ritual had any effect on disease.
So he "went undercover" and asked to become an apprentice shaman.
As well as how to make certain remedies using plants and other substances, he learned many theatrical "tricks", such as putting some feathers in his mouth, biting the inside of his cheek to draw blood, then pretending to "suck" out the disease from the patient and then spitting out the bloody feathers.
Knowing that the theatrics involved were just that, he started his shaman work, faking it just like the shaman who taught him. But, to his amazement, the "tricks" worked, even though sometimes he wasn't really doing anything
(as far as giving them substances that might help them).
Somewhere in your body - maybe in one specific gland, maybe in every cell - you have the power to manufacture most of the kinds of "medicines" and "mind-altering substances" you need. The hard part is triggering that production. Mysteriously, thinking that you have ingested a substance that has a certain effect, can often somehow trigger the production of whatever substance the body can make which comes closest to having that effect, at least for a little while. Say that, there were a bunch of free men, examining the perfect world
around them. One day, because of a horrible choice to commit a crime,

I understood that I was witnessing the failure of humans, not God. But in a way, that was the point. I didn't see these institutions drenched in God's spirit. Shouldn't religious organizations, if they were God-inspired and -driven, reflect higher standards than government, corporations and other groups in society?

Instead of expending useless energy plotting an "Angry Response"
To stay positive requires restoring your natural rhythm to be in sync with others.
or carrying around a weight of resentment by constantly tallying up every additional remark or action, try allowing people to be who they are and not forcing them to be who you are!
Here are some suggestions for turning a negative work environment into a positive:
When you start to feel negative, fool around, do nothing and relax.
You will reap the amazing benefit of the creative process by releasing wasted energy and opening up a conduit for creative ideas to come to you.
Manage your personal stress levels which helps you to be resilient and not jump to conclusions. If you are hungry, take a break and eat. If you are sleepy, take a ten minute power nap. If you are irritable, take a walk.
Respond to the negative situation; don’t react.
Look for positive qualities in the people who push your button and go out of your way to be helpful.
Positive moods occur when you make the most of yourself –
not turning your attention to others.
Adapt to the “situation” or the person, rather than impose yourself.
Exchange places with your adversary at work. How does he or she see you?
How can you help them? Be affirmative, not negative.
Don’t worry about failing.
Worry more about failing to be kind, open and understanding.
Everybody fails and gets rejected.
Failure helps you to grow and succeed. However, if you are unkind and act without integrity even if you achieve success, you are suppressed inside as a person.
To be relaxed and happy at work you must have a sense of yourself and your specific talent. Also, you need to be self-aware, to gauge your own behavior, motivation and personal rhythm, always on the alert when you cross the line into negativity. Know your triggers and try to understand them.
Make a "commitment to internal peace" and don’t wait for "external circumstances" to create peace for you because peace and serenity begin inside and emanate outward.
You possess the power to change your work environment.

No matter if it is something that you read in a newspaper or a scientific publication or a conversation that you have with a friend, they will raise questions in your mind that you will not be able to answer or that will make you want to learn more about the subject.
Oftentimes, people make you think, challenge your assumptions, and trigger your interest in knowing more about specific topics, populations, etc.
Sometimes, you may want to find answers to controversial social questions; some others, you may want to test someone else's theories or proof certain postulates.
If you think problems through critically, you will constantly find new subjects for investigation.
PERSONAL EXPERIENCE & INTERESTS
Your personal experience and interests are a rich source of inspiration and a powerful thrust to pursue research. When you can choose the subject to explore, you should ask yourself "what subject do I want to explore?" and also "what subject do I want to be an explorer of?" Think of questions that are of direct personal interest to you. In Jean Johnson words, "searching seems to be a result of our natural curiosity, our desire to find answers to problems, our urge to question what other s have told us, or perhaps just our need to know more about the unknown…. The result will be not only an additional paper but also an addition to your personal store of knowledge--each helps to define you as a person."
Before deciding on a specific topic, explore one or more subjects, or general areas of study. These subjects may interest you because of what you have read, heard, or seen, or because of what has happened to you or to someone you know. Previous coursework, your hobbies, and previous experiences can be sources of research topics. Even when you are somehow limited in your subject choice (for example, if your professor requires that you write about Welfare Reform), you can approach it from many angles, and find a part of that subject that relates to something you are interested in (in our example, you may want to focus on the impact of new legislation on unemployment or children's health status).

The Multinational Monitor releases an annual list of the 10 worst corporations of the year and in this year's report there are some familiar faces:

General Electric (GE),
Imperial Sugar,

and Roche.
There are common themes that tie together many of the unethical and harmful activities these corporations have committed, and in many cases, gotten away with. Cheif among these themes is improper political influence.

New York, Jan 3 : American actor Tom Cruise
could end up being sued by a San Francisco advertising executive
for using a replica of Adolf Hitler's globe in his movie 'Valkyrie '
Robert Pritikin owns several of Hitler's artefacts, including the notorious globe, which the Fuehrer used to plan U-boat attacks from his compound in the Bavarian Alps.
Pritikin, who had bought Hitler's globe in 2007 for 100,000 dollars, decided to take legal action after he saw a copied version of the globe in Cruise's movie.
'Pritikin believes the globe should be used as a teaching tool so the lessons of Hitler's nightmare can keep history from repeating itself, ' the New York Post quoted investigator Paul Barresi, who was retained to look into the copying of the globe, as saying.
'Tom Cruise's use of the globe's likeness without our client's permission was likely just an oversight. We're confident this will all be quickly resolved out of court, ' Hanks said.
Pritikin, who recently put the Hitler items up for sale through businessman Peter Marino, hopes that Cruise may buy them.
'I think it would be a wonderful gesture of good will on Tom Cruise's part to purchase the globe along with all of the other Hitler artefacts owned by Mr. Pritikin and donate them to the Wiesenthal Centre, ' Barresi stated.
Representatives for Cruise and United Artists were unavailable for comments on the issue.
