This is our entry for O2 vcam. It took about 2 months for the piece to come together due to the amount of detailed drawing, colouring by hand and the production of the different characters. The filming was done using real stop motion photography rather than computer effects. The music is from the APM library.
The story: The concept is based on the world being sad and grey for the people who always seem to fail to get to the latest events. That's when O2 comes along, represented by a small happy red dude who leaves his building and walks past people splashing colour into their lives by giving them 'priority' to their favourite gigs! This is our entry for O2 vcam. I really like the animation of the door opening in the "PRIORITY animation" provided, it's just the kind of thing I like and is what inspired me to put this together. I wanted to make my VCAM based around it. Rather than applying the animation to the end of my ad I wanted it to fit together.
Keeping with the simplistic look and colour scheme I put together a simple little animation illustrating the journey that leads up to the door being opened.
The journey that starts with the PRIORITY service is a sexy one, it's not just the destination that's exciting.
I hope it's enjoyed,
