E-Meter.
This device measures changes in the electrical resistance of the preclear by passing approximately 0.5 volts through a pair of tin-plated tubes much like empty soup cans, attached to the meter by wires and held by the "preclear" during auditing. These low-potential changes in electrical resistance, are believed by Scientologists to be a reliable and a precise indication of changes in the reactive mind of the "preclear".
Description
"Auditing" in the context of Scientology is an activity where a person trained in "auditing" listens and gives auditing commands to a subject, which Scientologists refer to as a "preclear".
Critics of "auditing" have suggested that it has similarities with cult style programming and some behavior modification techniques which result in psychological manipulation of the subject. According to the Church of Scientology's official guidelines, all communications during auditing are confidential.
Auditing involves the use of "processes," which are sets of questions asked or directions given by an auditor. When the specific objective of any one "process" is achieved, the "process" is ended and another can then be used.
By doing this, the subjects are said to be able to free themselves from unwanted barriers that inhibit their natural abilities.
Scientologists state that the person being audited is completely aware of everything that happens and becomes even more alert as auditing progresses.
The auditor is obliged by the church's doctrine to maintain a strict code of conduct toward the preclear called the Auditor's Code.
Auditing is said to be successful only when the auditor conducts himself in accordance with the Code.[citation needed] A violation of the Auditor's Code is considered a high crime under Scientology law.
The code outlines a series of 29 promises which include pledges:
1. “Not to evaluate for the preclear or tell him what he should think about his case in session”
2. “Not to invalidate the preclear’s case or gains in or out of session.”
3. “Never to use the secrets of a preclear divulged in session for punishment or personal gain.”

I have spent several days lecturing at the World Environmental Conference on Aspartame marketed as NutraSweet, Equal and Spoonful. In the keynote address by the EPA, they announced that there was an epidemic of multiple sclerosis and systemic lupus, and they did not understand what toxin was causing this to be rampant across the United States. I explained that I was there to lecture on exactly that subject.
When the temperature of Aspartame exceeds 86 degrees F, the wood Alcohol in Aspartame converts to formaldehyde and then to formic acid, which in turn causes metabolic acidosis. (Formic acid is the poison found in the sting of fire ants). The methanol toxicity mimics multiple sclerosis thus peoples were being diagnosed with having multiple sclerosis in error. The multiple sclerosis is not a death sentence, where methanol toxicity is.
In the case of systemic lupus, we are finding it has become almost as rampant as multiple sclerosis, especially with diet Coke and diet Pepsi drinkers. Also, with methanol toxicity, the victims usually drink three to four 12 oz. cans of them per day, some even more. In the cases of systemic lupus, which is triggered by Aspartame, the victim usually does not know that the aspartame is the culprit.
The victim continues its use irritating the lupus to such a degree, that sometimes it becomes life threatening. When we get people off the aspartame, those with systemic lupus usually become
symptomatic. Unfortunately, we cannot reverse this disease. On the other hand, in the case of those diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis, (when in reality, the disease is methanol toxicity), most of the symptoms disappear. We have seen cases where their vision has returned and even their hearing has returned. This also applies to cases of Tinnitus.

Don’t be fooled by the president’s roster of cabinet choices. Yes, he has appointed a diverse group of Blacks, Latinos, Asian-Americans, and women, along with six white male nominees who are not by themselves a majority.

people are getting a raw deal.
Last month a federal appeals court in San Francisco ruled in favor of
antiabortion extremists who run a Web site called the Nuremberg Files.
The Web site describes abortion providers as "Satan's food source" and features
Wild West style "wanted" posters of doctors who terminate pregnancies, along
with their private addresses, the license plate numbers of their cars, and
relatives' names.
Over the last ten years, seven abortion doctors have been killed by far
right fanatics linked to the shadowy Army of God, a loose-knit underground
network. Three of the slain physicians had appeared on the Web site's wanted
posters. There were also 17 attempted murders of abortion providers and
dozens of bombed women's clinics during this period. For every doctor who
was killed, the Nuremberg Files placed a cross through his name, and injured
physicians were denoted accordingly.

A recent survey of 14-to 25-year-olds conducted by the Forsa Institute found that one in two youth in ex-Communist eastern Germany believe that the Nazi dictatorship had its good side, and 15 percent of those polled think the Nazi Party in itself "was a good idea" and wouldn't mind seeing it backin power.
Many young people in western Germany are also smitten by the perverse allure of Hitler's murderous regime. Thirty-five percent of those polled agree with the notion that Nazism had positive aspects, while 40 percent maintain there are too many foreigners in Germany. Forty-six percent of youth in eastern Germany feel a similar antipathy toward foreigners.

According to Human Rights Watch, the practice of "debt bondage" among sexual traffickers is routine, and women often find that their so-called debts only increase and can never be fully repaid.
