Sharon Woodward speaks to Cardiff born singer of the Welsh Skinhead Oi! band The Oppressed Roddy Moreno. For those unfamiliar with the Skinhead scene, Moreno was well known for his stand against the far-right and later for introducing SHARP (Skinheads Against Racial Prejudice) into the UK .
In this first section of the interview Moreno is on familiar territory as he speak of the early days with The Oppressed and his experience of dealing with the common misconception of the skinhead stereotype.

’Thank You Skinhead Girl’ Is a 45 minute documentary The film has been supported by OFVM - Film Oxford Production Award and Screen South Community Projects Award. It explores the filmmakers own experience of being in care and becoming a skinhead during that time 1979 - 83. It also takes a look at the Oxfordshire Skinhead scene from 1969 - 1989. The Devils Feast is the first feature film shot on digital video to be made in the UK. The film follows Chloe Mason is an up-and-coming conceptual artist whose controversial exhibition The Devils Feast has opened both to rave reviews and condemnation. Her work is sexual, political, provocative and blasphemous - and open to a wide range of interpretations. To some critics, she’s the new Picasso, to others her entire exhibition is a load of meaningless crap. But whether Chloe Mason is any good or not is almost immaterial.
