Press conferences are no easy ride, even for puppets – as this footage of Kermit the Frog and Miss Piggy shows.
The pair are on the promotional circuit for their new film The Muppets and were asked for a response to allegations from Fox News that the project is ‘pushing a dangerous liberal agenda.’
“They were concerned about us having some prejudice against oil companies and I can tell you that’s categorically not true,” says Kermit in defence of the movie, “And besides, if we had a problem with oil companies, why would we have spent the entire film driving around in a gas-guzzling Rolls Royce.”
Kermit’s co-star, Miss Piggy, joins in the attack on Fox News, saying “It’s almost as laughable as, er, accusing Fox News of, er, being, you know, news.”
