It seems every Tom, Dick and Harry are up for a reunion in 2009. Blur, Blink 182 and there's rumours even Led Zeppelin have all rejoined forces to bring back the music and to earn a few extra quid, but now Limp Bizkit have reportedly kissed and made up and will be touring the world. Yes, the whole world.
The reasons behind the band's original split are still shaky, the guitarist Wes Borland claimed he left the nu-metal band as he felt he was limited artistically and didn't like the idea that he was part of a so-called 'sell out' band. So it's with great pleasure, and probably a lack of money, that he's got over his issues and agreed to rejoin...
"We decided we were more disgusted and bored with the state of heavy popular music than we were with each other. Regardless of where our separate paths have taken us, we recognize there is a powerful and unique energy with this particular group of people we have not found anywhere else. This is why Limp Bizkit is back."
Personally, I can't see Limp Bizkit doing any good to the 'heavy metal' scene, there's a wealth of pop-rockers out there already.
