Or is it rethink your tax?
Locals of Brentford, South West London, have decided enough is enough and call the bluff on Mp's Ann & Alan Keen, whose first home remains an empty builders shell whilst they live comfortably in their second home in nearby Kensington.
The reclaimation of what some say could be deemed common property after this years extensive expense scams, took place early in the morning of Saturday 27th June.
Squatters posted a section6 on the building, moved in and banners were made and unfurled from the windows to allow people the opportunity to see for themselves exactly what was taking place in their neighbourhood.
It's genuinely fascinating to see how, amidst such climate of dishonour and stealth from political and business realms, the country over sees working people unite in the urge to reclaim democracy.
If one message is to emerge from these times it may well be this - consider where your tax dollar goes and just how close we are to the thousands of people displaced by corrupt regiemes - democracy is earned, use it or lose it.27.06.09

Small World Festival
Gaea Knight sings her song Tapestry
with Tribal Voices & friends in Full Moon tent at this spring's most (un)glamourous festival. ('glamourize' meaning 'veil' or mysterious facade)
This is a little glimpse into a unique gathering of friends, fires and homespun dreadlocks.

Thanks to all who made this sun-baked weekend so lush.

Sikh gathering, to commemorate those who lost lives in the 1984 massacre.
We hear the story of a young British man, retelling what he knows of the incident in India, 25 years ago, and how that has affected the Sikh community.
Very telling also, is the way he describes the isolation of persecution - in perfect rules of divide & conquer, the opressing factors will leave people feeling they are alone in their sufferring, opposed to the whole world.
The same feeling has been described by Tibetans, Tamils, Palestinians, Australian aborigonals and tribes (& individuals) subjected to mass bigotry.

"Until you can see god in all, you can't see god at all"
I like that.
The contrasting texture in this short video shows ancient culture immersed in modernity.
Its all well having great words, but in an age where one's word no longer stands trust for one's honour, is it our word, action or true intention that set pace for future events?
May we find the good way.07/05/09

GM and Chrysler have until Tuesday to prove to the government that they have a viable turnaround plan. The worsening outlook for auto sales makes that difficult.
NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- On Tuesday, General Motors and Chrysler LLC have to submit plans to the government that show how they plan to turnaround their troubled companies. It won't be an easy task.
The two struggling automakers, which received approval for $17.4 billion in federal loans in December ($13.4 billion for GM and $4 billion for Chrysler) are required by the terms of their agreement to show that they can be viable for the long-term. Otherwise, the government could recall the loans.
Both companies submitted turnaround plans to Congress in December when they were first seeking federal assistance -- but conditions have gotten considerably worse in just two months.
Auto sales in January were terrible, with the industry reporting a seasonally adjusted annual sales pace, or SAAR, of only 9.5 million cars and light trucks, the worst in 26 years.GM and Chrysler have until Tuesday to prove to the government that they have a viable... more
