Let us join in and wish her a Happy Mother's Day. After all, who has created one of the most gigantic Media Sensations of all time than her. Let's lighten up, just for a moment. Who knows what those beautiful Beings will grow-up and achieve in life. In time it is our Children who will Parent us. And sometimes do a much better job than we do.
And just think of all the beautiful, colorful "Water Pitchers" she'll get over the years. It is certainly what we, my 5 other siblings and I gave our Mom. And she just smiled graciously said "Thank You!" Always bearing the sweetest smile. Over the years some of them gained great value, even a few antiques and collectable in the bunch!
But clearly she has a lot of lives to affect one day. She has great Parents, and they have great Grand Parents, to help instill unforgettables life lessons and values in them.
And when all is said and done, we'll look back and say, "Life Happens," intime it will all be crystal clear. Sometimes we make huge plans and they backfire. Often we don't seem to have a plan that makes sense, and it seems to work out okay! So let's live and let live,
give life a chance...even though we live in a not so PERFECT World!
(There must be a good lesson here somewhere to learn)Let us join in and wish her a Happy Mother's Day. After all, who has created one... more

" A Child Speaks"
Mother Dearest. I have loved you from the time I was conceived in Your Womb
and was Born unto You - That Memorable Moment was well overdue
When those two Entities met (A Tiny Sperm and Egg) went dancing around
so entwined, I knew My Life in HIS Hand and Yours was part of My Destiny -
in GOD's Plan so Devine...You came along and recued Me from
Life's Realitites and Woes, that happen everyday of Our Lives
And I say to You, "Thank You, for all that You give, and have given unto Me,
in Your own Dear and Loving way - You do so whith such Caring and Generousity
And for the Life I now Live even though My words can not adequately Express
In My Heart and thru My Thoughts and Deeds , it is You i Love Best!
One day Our Lives on this Earth shall Depart, deep n My Spirit I'll always know
that this shall exist, for now and throughout Eternity.
We both know, however in the Grand Scheme of things..it was GOD Who
joined Us together, in this "Marriage" of Life
Again, I say to You, Mother Dearest - it is You I Love Most!
(Happy Mothers Day - Today and Always)

Well some of us knew this would happen. That this thing would not go away. and that not only will the Octuplets be famous, but so will the 6 other kids...and why not, they do have to share their space with them And Octumom, has pulled a "BIG" one on all of us.
She now has an 18 year deal, to make millions. Wow! - a Reality Show, folks taking care of the kids, while you sit back and rake in the bucks. I head she has a Masters Degree, Degree or not, she has certainly devised a "MASTER PLAN!" The Haters will have to grit and bear.
Now don't anyone-else get any ideas, about mutiple implants, and Births....Maybe in a strange way, this is providence. Who could predict 8 kids?! Now that she'll be Rich, perhaps she can get the best counseling. No matter how much help and Money she has, Children need their parents to be fully functionable, and capable of being in charge. She does have great Parents it seems..that's if Mother hasn't already run off...MONEY does change things though!
(Just think we have at least 18 years to hear about all this!)Well some of us knew this would happen. That this thing would not go away. and that... more

It is a usual hot Summer day, the sun shines brightly. It was truly beautiful, as they sit around the pool-side. Those folks who aren't Swimmers, look on as others enjoy the ambiance of the day. Soon everyone is gone, except for the 4 of them.
A friend of theirs is swimming energetically back and forth, in the sweltering heat. "Isn't it rather hot out there?!," someone inquired,,,"Nope I'm fine!" His muffled sounds ring out. It was then his sister says, "I'm going in, (it is her home), Ralph is getting tired... You want to come in?!," she shouts as she leaves the breezeway near the Bathhouse. (Her husband is terminally ill) "No I'm going to stay out here and mess with John, (her brother), Mary said.
She sat back down, near the corner of the breezeway, out of sight from John. Soon Mary hears a faint sound..."Mary, Mary?! His voice was faint, barely audible...Being a Jokester, she thinks he is playing with her...But she does rise to take a look around the corner..It is then she realizes only the top of his head is visible...No more sounds are coming from him..."My God he's drowning, He's drowning!"....Frantcially she starts running looking for something, anything...By now, his sister and her aling husband, his brotherlin-law are rushing outside to the pool. Somehow no sounds would come from her, she could not scream..."Help!," as his sister freezes, saying....."Please don't drown?!"
There were pool rafts, and floats but they were too far away for her to retrieve.
All she could think of, as she was searching, "What will I say to his kids?!...She can't loose a brother and her husband...and my freind?!"
In her moment of terror, she manages to spot a water hose, wrapped up in the corner of the yard...Something inside her says, "Grab it, and throw it as hard as you can!" She does, as she watches it in what seems like slow motion. The rope drifts slowly downward into the water, his hands struggle desperately to grasp, ....His voiice is silent, head still covered with water. His hands frantically grab for the hose, while fumbling for it. It appears he's too weak...and then suddenly she feels his weight of his body tugging on the other end...Now she is kneeling down reeling him in.....
The two onlookers, say..."You saved his life...You saved his life!!!"
No?..she thinks for a split second..."It was a power much stronger than you and I......It is a Miracle."m

While sitting at the Bus Stop one day, waiting for the bus to come, an elderly gentleman in his 70's, whom I had seen walking the beat, from time to time, came and sat next to me. He was always well dressed, and I beleive he came down town just to style. That was okay, he was retired, and he liked to dress, so he is just chilling.....Right?!
Well, my 3 &1/2 year old Grand Daughter had a different opinion, I guess. She is sitting to my left, he to my right. He spoke, "Young lady how are you?" (at 40 plus this was nice). Being the friendly" person that I am, I return the courtesy, "Fine," and I assist him in engaging me in a conversation ....Ofcourse, just to be kind.
Little Dee, appears uneasy, and began pulling at my clothes, "Stop it!," I call out to her.
She is leaning over in my face at this point...(the conversation has lasted for some time). She nudges at me, now completely in my face..."Mimi, Mimi,...He's not a New Man!...He's not a New Man!" It was then I noticed she was trying to stop me from talkng to this suave' "ole gent."
"Not a New Man", she shouts. It was then i stopped to find out exactly what she meant. Several people walk past. "Is that a New Man?" she looks on anxiously, "No!" Soon a hep looking young man, in Blue Jeans is walking past...."What about him?"...she pauses staring carefully, pointing at him, while shouting..."That' A New Man, He's a New Man!"
Even though I was not a kid...It was clear she was saying..."Dont' waste your time, he's too old!"While sitting at the Bus Stop one day, waiting for the bus to come, an elderly... more

A young woman and mother of two young kids....1 year, and 2 & 1/2 are returning from a long day of Shopping. Ofcourse she has plenty of Diapers to change, and countless conversations and reprimands about the "Potty."
Regretting to stop and take the kids out of their Car Seats one more time, she has been
"holding it " quite awhile now. She reaches the front door of her home, twisting and turning, about to burst. She realizes she cannot find her Door Key. (Her 2&1/2 is closely observing her demeanor). Suddenly the water lets loose, and is flowing freely down her legs, forming a puddle on the concrete entrance way porch...Although relieved, she wnats to crawl underneath the potted plant.
The 2 year old looks down at the "pool" of water and declares, "Oooooooooh Weee!......

Today, we acknowledge the life of Dr.Martin Luther King. His accomplishments are many. Even though we would rather celebrate his Brithday rather than the day of his demise. His life was brief in the context of longivity, yet he packed more living into those short years than most in a full lifetime.
Most of his Dream has transpired, and we cherish his memory. His philosophy and inspiring words, live on vicariously through all of us. Today we may choose these, while we pause to reflect......

Most Women are so grounded. Early in life they become Caretakers, they learn to mother their younger siblings, so it starts early in life. They think with their heads as well as their Hearts. Even though frivlous at times, they pull it together and help balance the lives of everyone who crosses their path. "Mother's Wit," is one of their greatest gifts. Not that men don't have it...Women simply use it differently. That built-in instinct is what keeps them afloat.
I'm convinced, "Women are from Venus, and Men are from Mars." (book)Most Women are so grounded. Early in life they become Caretakers, they learn to mother... more

Being a Middle Child, growing up you always wanted to excell at everything you do. It wasn't until later in life I began analyze and assess my own Life, I questioned my actions. Remembering the Birth of my younger sister, at age 5, it wasn't easy to accept second place. Then there was another child a few years later. When you're older, you choose the corner house, the corner/end of the Birthday Cake, or the first peice cut, and so forth.. Nothing else feels quite right. Nope don't want the middle of anything!
You always want to be at the top of your game. That discribes many folks, but for the Middle Child it comes naturally. This could be bit narcisistic, but if you're a sharing caring individual? No.....I believe it's the Middle Child Syndrome?!.....

Artistic Expression, is so important because primarily by engaging ourselves in it, we help chronicle our "Born Days," and those of our loved ones and friends. It is the glue that bridges Generational Gaps. Most importantly it is our God given priviledge. By each of us sharing our stories and experiences, it enlightens the mind, and helps enhance the thought process of others while passing it on to future generations.Ultimately we reach the heart and soul of humakind.
As imperfect, seemingly insignifient and mundane as these items of note appear to be, everyone has something worthwhile to offer,(even when it's controvercial). It helps mend and blend peoples lives, from wide-ranging unique backgrounds, heritages, diverse cultures, and ethnic groups. Family bonds are strengthened, while helping create balance. The Broken seem less broken, and may heal through the artistic contributions of others, and themselves. Thus we produce a more potent social structure in our communities, nation, and the world. Art stimulates that part of the Brain like no other form of stimuli, thus becoming a catalyst towards our childrens' learning.
Many idioms exist, connecting the Voice and mind of the artist to others, ranging from writing, to the spoken word, drama to humor, the stage, theater, movies, videos, and other mediums including dance, song, painting, sculpturing, so forth. Artistic expression is in everything we see, hear, and do in our everyday activity throughout the life process. As Artists we owe it to ourselves and others.....So let us Continue!Artistic Expression, is so important because primarily by engaging ourselves in it, we... more

Margie a Relative, is a nice person, she is always trying to help. Her friend is seperated from her husband but theyhad grown kids together. The husband's father passed away, and she wants her Ex. to be presentable at the Funeral. The past several years hadn't been easy, he was suffering from Depression. He had lost interest in his appearance and his hair was regae' -just not neat or well kept. So she sent her older son over with a Relaxer, to get the tangles out, and a Black Rinse to tone down the Gray Hair.
Well, she just didn't want him to miss this occassion. She drove by to see if all was okay...His brother stepped outside, and said, "He's going, he's getting dressed.now, but the HAIR?!"..She was perplexed, but running late they drove off. the expression on his face seemed to say, "Just Wait You'll see!"
Soon they were there, the 300 mile trip was over. The church was packed, so they sat in the Choir, of the medium sized country church. The sun shone brightly down the Ilseway, and thru the stained glass windows...Soon a tall stately Figure entered, and began walking proudly, and determindedly down the ailse. The sun was beaming, gleaming landing right atop of her EX's beautiful Chartreus Green Hair. She gasped, as they embraced this rare sight.
Immediately she knew, "The Fresh Chemicals of the Relaxer and that Black Rinse,?" she thought, a (Deadly Compond). Margie Do-Gooder had out done herself this time.. She felt bad, but it was too late.
Later at the GraveSight, her 4 year old Grandaughter ran past playfully, looking up into his Face, shouting out loud..."Grandpa, you got Green Hair"...Margie apologized, as he replied..."Baby, she really socked it to me this time!"Margie a Relative, is a nice person, she is always trying to help. Why not?! They are often more knowledgeable, they have earned it, paid the price, and gotten older. The other stuff is usually geared toward younger audiences.. Having their own network, they can focus on related issues, pertinent to them. Like Health Care, Entertainment in genres, of Interest to them. Music, that will not burst the eardrum, or offend. Beauty Pproducts, for the aging, Religion, because usually it is more important to the elderly, and other issues, such as Social Security, Insurance, so forth....Now things could get to be a bit boring, so it should be a well planned program format. Often Seniors are afraid to be themselves, because they fear redicule, by their younger counterparts, as well as family members.and friends. So let's define Seniors...I take some offense to 55 year olds being called Seniors....almost. However, we don't want folks to miss out on certain Benifits.
Definitions: Seniors, I believe are those past a ceratin age (55+)
Elderly, are those past a certain age, and may be more likely to
rely on others for their welbeing, and safe keeping. Some folks
reach these stages earlier than others, so it just depends.
By the way...we will allow youger people to partake, and participate on this network, just as they do our elite Seniors. The difference is, Senoiors will be in control. We will not discriminate!!
Having said that, I have a great idea, for a project of this nature....("Not Quite Over The Hill Gang").....Vintage Entertainment Network....Tune in Soon..
