AUDIO PODCAST: There are a lot of good guys out there when it comes to attorneys, mediators, and psychologists. The fact is, we know quite a few of them and we brought two well-known professionals on the air to discuss in detail the emotional, psychological, and legal aspects of hiring someone to represent oneself in a divorce and child custody proceeding. There are a ton of options, things to know, and tips to be aware of. Although many lawyers were horrified that we did an episode titled this, but … this is about the parents, children, and process as much as the lawyers and other professionals.AUDIO PODCAST: There are a lot of good guys out there when it comes to attorneys,... more

Don't be deceived! The twenty-year-old Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC) has little to do with personal rights. It has everything to do with changing values and undermining the traditional family. Since it transfers parental authority to the state, Christian children are legally free to reject safe family guidelines. The state will back their choice! As Hillary Clinton wrote back in the nineties, "It Takes a Village!"
This process started long ago. Its milestones include the birth of the United Nations in 1945 and, starting in 1948, its "consultative" relationships with the new World Federation for Mental Health. The Federation's founding document, "Mental Health and World Citizenship," exposed the mind-changing agenda behind the social sciences:
"Studies of human development indicate the modifiability of human behaviour throughout life, especially during infancy, childhood and adolescence.... Social institutions such as family and school impose their imprint early.... It is the men and women in whom these patterns of attitude and behaviour have been incorporated who present the immediate resistance to social, economic and political changes."
The CRC is designed to erode that resistance! For example, its ARTICLE 14 tells parents to "respect the right of the child to freedom of thought, conscience and religion." That might make sense if parents were free to teach them safe moral and spiritual boundaries. But it spells disaster in today's boundary-free culture, which bombards our children with promiscuous, pornographic and pluralistic suggestions and images.
ARTICLE 14 includes this qualification: "Freedom to manifest one's religion or beliefs may be subject only to such limitations as are prescribed by law and are necessary to protect public safety, order, health or morals, or the fundamental rights and freedoms of others." But who are those "others" that need protection? All who despise the Bible and are offended by moral standards? That's already happening! As one school administrator warned a student: "Leave your faith in the car."
ARTICLE 15 grants children the right to "freedom of association," while ARTICLE 16 forbids "interference with his or her privacy... or correspondence." Their freedom to choose would fling the doors open to every lewd kind of literature, texting and Internet communications.
Notice the strange twist. With ratification of this Convention, the state terminates parental rights to set wise boundaries and maintain moral standards. It "frees" children to follow their new pied pipers into a world of corruption, group thinking, and government control. Meanwhile, Christian children lose their traditional right to express their faith, since Christian beliefs and values are too divisive for today's changing world

Hello my name is Vincent M. Collins and I am the father of three very precious children.
Awareness to parental rights, and the rights of our children, are fundamental rights that need serious attention. We as parents choose the schools that we want our children to attend, or the medications that are prescribed by the healthcare industry. What are the rights of our children? Our children need to be able to speak for themselves in issues of their personal wellbeing.
Issues of parental custody and visitation, the education they want, the doctors our children trust. Our children feel things that are never allowed to be talked about in their life without feeling guilt, remorse or alienation. Not till years later are they on their own and they go look for the reasons for the way they are.
These rights are in many forms and so many to mention. But what if, as a parent or even as a country, those rights were taken away?
What if the United Nations stepped in and put sanctions upon the United States and told us as parents; here is how many children you may have, where your children may go to school, and who your children may see for healthcare or maybe even who their friends may be.
Read the news; do not think that all of these things are not possible.
These rights are to be protected be the US Constitution. The way to make sure that these right are protected is thru our system of government. We as citizens of the US elect government officials to all types of different offices. Governors are elected to represent our states and Congressmen to be representative congress. These Representatives are our voice to protect our constitutional rights and the rights of our children.
That is why I asking for everyone’s help and support to raise the awareness to a very serious issue of Parental and Children’s Rights.
I am hoping to ask for your support in raising awareness for all types of child and parental rights. I would like to have your support, endorsement, or contribution with this issue. This is a hot topic in the news and I know in the state and congress right now.
I want to raise awareness for Parental and Children’s rights by riding a bicycle from Redlands California, leaving from Congressman Lewis’ office on Brookside Avenue here in Redlands California on May 2nd, and to ride to Sacramento to meet with Governor Schwarzenegger.
I am not looking to pick sides or single out any point, topic or issue because there are to many. I will be asking for signatures to support Congressman Pete Hoekstra and the Proposed Parental Rights Amendment, H.J. Res 42.
Even though I have my own reasons for wanting to make this journey on a bicycle I am hoping that others will join in, even for part of the ride, and ride whatever you want. Everyone can ride for his or her own reason, this is to raise awareness to our many issues of Parental Rights and H.J. Res. 42.
Every push that I make on the pedals, which moves the crank, to pull the chain, to turn the sprocket, to rotate wheels will be for my children, but this is not just about me and my children. This “Ride for Rights” is only to raise awareness for everyone to the rights we have and the rights that you can help protect. Just like the parts, and the way a bike moves, it is true that everyone is “a link in our chain” of command in the United States government.
Thank You for your Support!
I hope to chat, meet, and talk with all of you that love their children.
Very Sincerely,
Vincent M Collins
