How should people prepare for the difficult years that are coming? I get asked about that a lot. Once people really examine the facts, it is not too hard to convince them that an economic collapse is coming. But once they accept that reality, most of them want to know what they can do to prepare themselves and their families for the hard times that are ahead. Well, the truth is that it does not have to be complicated. Many of the things discussed throughout this article are things that most of us should be doing anyway. Now is not the time to be splurging on luxuries or expensive vacations. Now is not the time to be going into large amounts of debt. Instead, we all need to get back to the basics and we all need to do what we can to become more independent of the system. Just remember what happened back in 2008. Millions of Americans lost their jobs and millions of Americans lost their homes. Now experts all over the globe are warning that another great financial crisis that could be just as bad as 2008 (or even worse) is coming. Those that don't take the time to prepare this time are not going to have any excuse. How should people prepare for the difficult years that are coming? I get asked about... more

If you and your family store up lots of food, will you be identified as "potential terrorists" by law enforcement authorities? That sounds like an insane question, but sadly it has gotten to the point where "preparing for the worst" has become a "suspicious activity". Today, there are millions of preppers all across the United States, and the vast majority of them just want to be left alone and do not want the government to interfere in their lives. Storing up food is a completely peaceful activity, and preppers are generally some of the most patriotic and law-abiding people that you could ever hope to meet. Unfortunately, prepping has become associated with "extremism" by many in the government, and lately we have seen some very disturbing signs that authorities are actively seeking to gather information on preppers. So are preppers now considered to be potential terrorists? Well, read the evidence posted in the rest of this article and decide for yourself. If you and your family store up lots of food, will you be identified as... more

Are the American people losing faith in the U.S. economy? The statistics that you are about to read might surprise you. Not everyone believes that the U.S. economy is dying (there are still millions out there that will swallow anything that the mainstream media tells them), but the reality is that there is a growing chunk of the population that has completely lost faith in our leaders and in our economic system. Are the American people losing faith in the U.S. economy? 2012 hysteria is so 2009, but that doesn't matter to Russian engineer Evgeny Ubiyko. He's built an $80,000 emergency pod that can survive magma and magnetic storms, and he's imploring the Russian government to buy several thousand post haste.
Overall, the device remind me of a souped up Starlab from my elementary school days. This is perhaps an unfair observation (as I've never seen Ubiyko's schematics), but here's some footage of his ark's model Al Jazeera took last year:

What in the world is happening to America? Are there still places in America where liberty and freedom are respected, where taxes are low, where regulations are not suffocating, where the people are friendly and where Americans can be free to live an independent lifestyle? In a previous article entitled "What Is The Best U.S. State To Move To If You Want To Insulate Yourself From The Coming Economic Meltdown?", I asked readers what they thought were some of the best places in America to move to for people wishing to ride out the coming economic collapse. Well, the response was overwhelmingly negative. Readers were even highly negative about states that have been very popular for "independent thinking" Americans to move to such as Montana, Idaho, Alaska, Washington and Colorado. So are there any "good" places in America left? Or is America in danger of turning into one gigantic hellhole? What in the world is happening to America?
