Master figures of figmas are very fragile so I can’t be too bold with my posing, but I’ll try my best!

After much, much waiting, Sony has revealed the succesor of the portable gaming console, the PlayStation Portable. The new PSP NGP has a 5-inch touchscreen OLED display with a maximum resolution of 960×544 (not HD), dual analog sticks, connectivity through 3G/WiFi, GPS and run on an ARM Cortex-A9 core CPU. The new portable playstation system also incorporates a unique multi-touch pad on the rear, together with a front touch display panel.

Though I’ve been a fan of fighters for years, I’ve been on Team Final Fantasy for much longer. I’ve saved the world from imminent destruction simply via living vicariously through the tales woven by the multiple Final Fantasy adventures available to embark on and ultimately had a richer experience than I would have had I spent that time shattering bones and pulling off massive combos. In the past I had a staccato love affair with Square’s first attempt at a full-fledged fighting game that attempted to combine both genres, Ehrgeiz, but to be fair it was far from perfect. Upon Dissidia’s announcement, I knew I must obtain it both to feed my Final Fantasy fix and mingle with characters of my RPG history once again. In their recent fiscal report for 2008-2009, Konami released some surprising numbers regarding the Playstation 3.
The Playstation 3 represented 28% of Konami’s total software sales last year. This makes Sony’s behemoth the top seller for Konami last fiscal year. Of course, the release of Metal Gear Solid 4 may have done something with the numbers. In fact, the jump from the previous fiscal year is astounishing.
