Cinematics director Jeremy Swenty of Neversoft Entertainment thought it would be a great idea if he took some spare time and some spare wood, to create some awesome homemade pixel art from the days of the 8-Bit era.

Wonder Woman Promo

--Argh!! Finally found time to finish this. August is usually a bit of a quiet month but this year was insane, had no time whatsoever for personal projects. As a result this piece took far longer to complete than usual, I think I started it in June.
What’s that you say? New model for WW! That’s right, I’ve been championing Jaimie Alexander for WW well before she was cast in Thor (can’t wait for that movie BTW) but could never find decent quality images, until now! (Sorry Cobie). Combined her with this perfect stock image I found for a WW pose. I actually started this before all the hoopla with the new WW costume in the comics, some aspects of which I liked so much I ‘borrowed’ them (hope you don’t mind Jim Lee, loved the belt to much not to use it). I’ll add some more video of the creation of this in the coming days, may take me a while to edit it down.

2K approached Jhonen Vasquez, the creator of Invader Zim, Johnny the Homicidal Maniac, and other awesome things, to create an image for BioShock 2. The result is this piece called “The Sisters” which shows the Big Sister watching over two Little Sisters somewhere in Rapture.
Jhonen wrote up a guest blog over on The Cult of Rapture where he details the process he went through in creating the freaky little image. Jhonen will also be at San Diego Comic-Con signing special edition prints of his “The Sisters” drawing at the BioShock 2 booth. There will only be 500 prints of “The Sisters” drawing so you better get to the BioShock 2 booth as soon as you hit the show floor.
In other news, BioShock 2 is going to be at San Diego Comic-Con in some way or form!2K approached Jhonen Vasquez, the creator of Invader Zim, Johnny the Homicidal Maniac,... more
This past weekend saw the online release of the first non-spoof, fan-created film set in the Lord of the Rings universe. As evidenced by this effort, rights holders would do well to encourage fan involvement and be more lenient with fan created art. Further, it’s hard to argue against the wisdom of letting fans make money from their creations when looking at the wizard rock movement, which has been able to sustain itself for at least 5 years and has grown to support over 500 bands, while raising thousands of dollars for charity. Either way, the future looks bright for fan art. More receptive rights holders combined with low cost pro-level tools means better fan art regardless of whether it is made for a profit. This past weekend saw the online release of the first non-spoof, fan-created film set... more
