Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel is hoping to get people to join him for "National UnFriend Day" on Nov. 17, encouraging others to "unFriend" people on Facebook that they've never met, or wouldn't consider a friend in real life.
"Friendship is a sacred thing, and I believe Facebook is cheapening it," Jimmy Kimmel joked in his monologue.
Kimmel estimates that 90% of most people's Facebook friends are what he deems "fake friendships," pointing out that it's virtually impossible for anyone to actually have over 1,000 friends in real life.
So what criteria should be used to determine whether you should unfriend someone? The comedian suggest that:
"If you wouldn't loan someone $50, unfriend them. If you wouldn't invite them to your birthday party, unfriend them. If you wouldn't cry if they got hit by a bus, unfriend them. It doesn't have to be a hostile thing."

Hollywood's ace comedian Will Ferrell and seven-division world champion, Congressman Manny Pacquiao, teamed up to sing “Imagine” on “Jimmy Kimmel Live”. It was on Monday night’s episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, that Pacman showed up to promote his upcoming and very anticipated fight against Antonio Magarito. The fight is scheduled for November 13th in Jerry Jones’ new Cowboys Stadium.
During the show, Manny discussed his new role as a congressman in the Philippines, his new cologne and his upcoming fight with Margarito, The Pacman and comedian Will Ferrell went on to sing a cover of John Lennon’s "Imagine."

After a five year hiatus, Junip is back in action and hitting the road to remind us all just how wonderful indie-folk music can be. Folk music is something that I’ve become rather partial too. Don’t get me wrong, I love indie pop, dance and etc. because it makes every muscle in my body shake, but every once in a while we need a little down time, and that’s exactly what Junip does for me – reminds me to come down (not to mention Halifax is swarmed with indie-folk music, so it’s a part of my blood).
