Peter Berg, he of Hancock and The Kingdom fame, has been attached to yet another project.
No, not his remake of Dune.
No, not Hancock 2.
But Battleship, the Movie. Based off the children's board game. Undoubtedly it'll be like The Hunt for Red October meets someting immensely more boring and tame for a major audience. Honestly, Berg can deliever acceptable fare for people.

Sharing his ideas to Syfy's science-fiction blog "Sci-fi Wire", Peter Berg has some ideas for the sequel to Hancock.
At the end of the first film, it was revealed that Will Smith's superpowered character was an immortal god who became vulnerable only when in the presence of his goddess companion. Berg also reveals that it might have another god out there.
