Over the last week, I've spent some time with Capcom's 3D revival of their Bionic Commando series. While I was hopeful that it would be a fun, next-gen reinterpretation of the cult classic old-school series, unfortunately my experience wasn't very positive at all. Check out my feelings above and then create your own webcam review in the comments. We'll be putting together the best reviews into something very cool in the near future!

Each week for the Weekly Stack, I upload a picture of my stack of games I've been playing this week. Want to join in? Reply with a picture of the FIVE games you've been playing (or wanting to play) the most this week. The stack should be in order from most-played at the top to least-played at the bottom (and if you didn't play five, just include games you wish you had gotten to on the bottom). Then tell us a little bit about your experience with the games!
Infamous -- After wanting so badly to play this a couple weeks ago and having to take a long break for E3, I finally got to REALLY dig into Infamous this week...and it was so worth the wait. I'm totally digging the variety of powers and the nice number of mission types available. And on top of all that, this game seems HUGE. I'm only just nearing the 50% complete mark and I've sunk at least 10-12 hours into it already.
Bionic Commando -- I finally got the chance to tear into Capcom's latest franchise revival. There's a lot to love about Bionic Commando -- the complex and well-realized swinging mechanic, the fun challenges that are consistently handed out as you progress -- but it's all a bit weighed down by clumsy shooting and shoddy level design. I really want to get through all of Bionic Commando, but after a frustrating checkpoint-light level full of snipers who drain your health in a few hits, I'm just not sure I'll find the will to return to this game.
New Super Mario Bros. -- Perhaps it was seeing New Super Mario Bros. Wii at E3, or perhaps it was just watching series creator Shigeru Miyamoto play the game with some adorable noises and a clear passion for what he's making. Whatever the case, I got an unavoidable urge to break open the DSi and start a new game of NSMB. While it's not the best 2D Mario game ever created, I maintain that this handheld outing has some brilliant levels that capture everything that's fun about Mario.
Red Faction: Guerrilla -- I picked Red Faction up as my game that I plan to dig into as soon as I'm done with Infamous. However, since Infamous has been lasting me a lot longer than I expected, I haven't actually got to play it much yet. Want to know what convinced me to buy Red Faction? Check out this video "review without words" by Current user rfm_arthur:

Super Mario Galaxy -- And speaking of Mario and a sudden urge to play Mario games! Super Mario Galaxy was one of my favorite games of 2007, and a sequel was really all I wanted from E3. With that announced and some very enticing footage shown, there was one factor that pushed me over the edge: G4tv.com's Andrew Pfister, who did a great write-up of exactly why he's so excited about Mario Galaxy 2 in their Top 5 E3 Highlights story, reminding me why I'd like to go back and play even more of the original in the mean time:

Plants vs. Zombies -- I sunk way more time than I had expected or planned into Plants vs. Zombies this week. PopCap Games has continued their tradition of crafting simple but deceptively addictive games. Despite that "casual" title that makes some people cringe, I would recommend that everyone at least check out the demo.
Patapon 2 -- As one of my main Memorial Day games, I wasted the better part of my long weekend tapping buttons to the beat provided by Patapon's adorable little hunter-gatherers. There's definitely a steep difficulty curve here, but even as I started bumping into more and more painful sections, I also started feeling like I'm finally getting into the groove of the gameplay.
The Godfather II -- Last week, Godfather II was in my lower stack of shameful wants that I never actually found any time for. This week, I was able to sink a few more hours in, finally beginning to explore the city of Miami and learning how to take on multiple rival gangs at once. I'm still enjoying the simple-but-fun gameplay, but the stupid video game dialogue grafted onto Godfather II's epic plot is starting to bother me.
Infamous -- If you read the release list on the Current Gaming blog (http://blogs.current.com/gaming/2009/05/28/hitting-the-shelves-week-of-may-25-2009-infamous-up-and-more/), then you know how unbelievably psyched for Infamous I was. Unfortunately, I've barely been able to dig into it since picking it up earlier in the week. Here's hoping I can put a dent into it this weekend before taking off for all the E3 fun next week.
Bionic Commando -- I'm a bit behind, but my copy of this just showed up this week. Unfortunately, between Plants vs. Zombies and my lust for Infamous, I haven't been as motivated to open it up and get gaming as usual. For those in the audience who've played it, is it worth it?
