Joel Paterson & The Modern Sounds are a Chicago area trio. They feature Joel Paterson on guitar and vocals; Jimmy Sutton (sitting in for Beau Sample) on string bass and vocals; Alex Hall on drums and vocals. At the Glenwood Grallery they brought their infectious brand of American roots music that had people literally dancing in the streets.
