Looks like he could be on some street vendor's old food cart, somewhere in the middle of New York City.
This piece includes the wonderful high-resolution photograph of Santa sitting on a pretzel stick, as well as the cheerful one-minute animated short film, “Joyeux Noël!”

“The Star Wars Christmas Special” is a new holiday short film directed and produced by Nick Murphy and Paul Ritchey at Gamervision. Since the notoriously bad “Star Wars Holiday Special” is so difficult to find, Gamervision decided to make a holiday version of their own, using original scenes from the film with new dialogue, voice overs, fancy editing and much more. It’s definitely the best holiday movie in the whole galaxy!
This piece includes a number of high-resolution color photographs, as well as the short film.

In 1971, John Lennon and Yoko Ono, with the Harlem Community Choir, recorded their message against war as a peace anthem, a song that has also become a Christmas standard: “Happy Xmas (War Is Over).” According to the John Lennon Museum, Lennon wrote the song as an attempt to get people to see war at a grassroots level and for them to take responsibility for the world around them.
So this is now the beginning of the Christmas season. And what have you done? The opening lines of the song, sung so nonchalantly by Lennon, serve as a call-to-action for us all. The holidays become critical moments in the year for personal assessments, to review our choices. And to make things better. If you want it.
This piece includes a number of high-resolution photographs, as well as the classic Christmas music video.

“What Do You Want for Christmas?” is a curiously witty holiday documentary short film directed by Andy Miller. A number of people on the streets of Detroit and Chicago were given the same question: “What do you want for Christmas?” They were asked to wish for anything in the world, without limitation. The film shows what can be be done with quick cuts and sometimes no words at all. Short insights, put together cleverly, makes for a great time. So what did they want? Gloves, Jobs, Peace on Earth, Snow, Family harmony, Mega-Millions, Fancy car, Inner peace, and much more….
This piece includes a number of high-resolution color photographs, as well as the documentary short film.

“WAR IS OVER! (If You Want It)” is a documentary short film created by John Lennon and Yoko Ono. As 1969 came to a close, Lennon and Ono’s ideas about their protests against the Vietnam War grew beyond printing a few posters. As Ono notes in the documentary, Lennon was the one who dreamed big. “I said let’s have T-shirts,” Ono remembers, “and John said, ‘Let’s buy billboards.’” The posters were displayed as billboards in twelve major cities across the world. And the message appeared not only in mass-produced posters and postcards, but also in large newspaper ads, as well as on the radio and television. It was the first major multimedia campaign for peace.
In 1971, Lennon and Ono, with the Harlem Community Choir, recorded their message as a peace anthem, a song that has also become a Christmas standard: “Happy Xmas (War Is Over).” According to the John Lennon Museum, Lennon wrote the song as an attempt to get people to see war at a grassroots level and for them to take responsibility for the world around them.

This is an incredible photograph, the look on this guy's face says it all. His expression reminds me of The Pogues' song “Fairytale of New York,” it's so full of mixed up emotions about the Christmas season. On the hand the man looks a bit happy, but on the other hand he looks much more sad. It reminds me of the Comedia Dell'Arte masks. This picture's a brilliant commentary on the ambivalence of the holidays.
This piece presents a number of additional photographs, as well as the wonderful music video by The Pogues and Kirsty McColl, “Fairytale of New York.”

OMG, I never expected to see a sight like this during the Christmas season! Have to say, this is a little bit disturbing...seeing Santa sitting up there on a big old pretzel stick! And with that red, red heart, maybe it's Merry Valentine's Day? This photographer sure has an eye for finding the most bizarre holiday window installations...or maybe NYC is just full of them! The cute little animated music video going along with this photograph is just perfect.
Yes indeed, Happy Holidays!

This scene is just timeless, if this photograph was in black and white, it could be New York City in the 1920s. It's wonderful...a great sense of timing, and each movement and expression is captured perfectly here. The customers there look just like little kids in a candy store. I love this photographer's night shots, there's just enough darkness to wrap the scenes and just enough light and color to keep them lively. And the photograph is accompanied here by the most ideal music video, “Chestnuts Roasting on an Open Fire.” Yes, It's all just perfect.
