Its not that all the apps on the iPhone get through Apple’s rigorous process of App selections. Apple
is reported to be very stubborn in their process and reject apps on reasons that may seem “silly”.

The Twitter application Tweetie (a personal favourite of mine both on Mac and iPhone) has just had an upgrade, bringing in a whole host of fixes and even a few new tasty tidbits.
"The new version includes several new features and bug fixes surrounding URL-shortening (tinyarro.ws now supported), 32-bit stability, and improved Growl notification support.
