What’s better than Maids playing DDR? Playing DDR with Maids! Last Thursday night, Nerd Reactor headed down to the Royal/T Maid Cafe in Culver City, California where Konami Digital Entertainment held a launch party for its upcoming DanceDanceRevolution title for PS3.
DDR holds a special place in my childhood. I was one of those kids who’d go to their nearest arcade and perform intensive songs to dazzle the crowd. Dripping pounds of sweat after the satisfaction of AA’ing Heavy-level songs, but enough about my DDR history, let’s move on to actual party!

This is very similar to Dance Dance Revolution and Tetris mixed together. Then let me say to you that it’s run on a little thang called the Arduino open-source electronics prototyping platform. In this project is a new way to play tetris – interacting with your feet and your body rather than just with your fingertips.

Gen Con is a gaming convention held yearly in Indianapolis. You get to compete and preview video games, card games, board games, anime, etc. There is cosplay (a costume contest) and Anime screenings. This is a summary of this event seen thru the eyes of Gina & Dan at Haunted Flower.
Highlights include Rock Band, Gina participating in a DDR tournament, and seminar time with Vic Mignogna, the voice of Edward Elric from the popular anime, The Fullmetal Alchemist.
