Brett and Ellen Fox of "Rotten Tomatoes" count down their top 5 villains from the James Bond films, which include a blond Christopher Walken (from "A View to a Kill"), Kananga (from "Live and Let Die") and Christopher Lee as "The Man With a Golden Gun." Based on the novel of the same title, BOOGIE WOOGIE is a wicked satire set against the backdrop of the contemporary London art scene where lust, ambition and power prevail while success and failure precariously balance on a knife edge. The film has an amazing emsemble cast featuring established stars such as Danny Huston, Stellan Skarsgård, and hot up and comers like Amanda Seyfried, Jaime Winstone and Jack Huston.
The story centres around the acquisition of Piet Mondrians abstract painting titled Broadway Boogie Woogie. The film charts the schemings of the art dealers, collectors, artists and wannabees who are all willing to use any means necessary to achieve their own personal ambitions. Each parallel story plummets towards its own depraved and egotistical conclusion until the stories collide, leading to a sobering and tragic finale.
