An estimated 100million viewers in the US saw the first ever ad for the American X Factor show air last night during a commercial break in the Super Bowl. The ad itself is all about Simon, which is kinda what any show he is in is about so spot on really...
The 30-second promo cost around $3million to air and revealed that the show is coming to the (eeeh) Fox this autumn. Media regulator Ofcom, are to investigate another incident on talent show 'The X Factor', this time over Christina Aguilaria and Rihanna's performances.
A total of 3,750 complaints (Ofcom: 2,750 - ITV: 1,000) were made when Rihanna performed "What's My Name" and Christina performing "Express" on the show. Ofcom is investigating whetever the ranchy performances broke regulations. X Factor bosses defended the performances.
