Cereplast, a Los Angeles based manufacturer of bioplastic derived from plant materials, has partnered with Oculus3D to unveil the world’s first biodegradable 3D glasses. Cereplast glasses are made using Ingeo Poly-lactic acid, or PLA plastic, and should degrade or compost in landfills in about six months while generating less carbon pollution than traditional petroleum-based plastics.
