(NaturalNews) Recent data presented to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s (CDC) Advisory Committee on Children’s Vaccines has revealed some shocking information about the effects of the H1N1 / swine flu vaccine on pregnant women. According to the report, the rate of miscarriage among pregnant women during the 2009 H1N1 / swine flu pandemic soared by over 700 percent compared to previous years, pointing directly to the vaccine as the culprit — but the CDC denies the truth and continues to insist nobody has been harmed.
According to the CDC, nearly 50 percent of all pregnant women were vaccinated with the H1N1 vaccine during the 2009 / 2010 influenza season. Those whose physicians instructed them to get a seasonal flu shot were three times more likely to get it, while those instructed specifically to get the H1N1 shot were ten times more likely to get it. And the numbers clearly show that along with the rise in vaccinations due to the H1N1 scare came the sharp increase in miscarriages, including a slew of actual reported adverse events.
But the CDC does not seem to care about the facts, as numerous reports indicate the agency has failed to report any of this vital information to vaccine suppliers. In fact, when presented with the data for the third time, Dr. Marie McCormick, chair of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) Vaccine Risk and Assessment Working Group, actually had the audacity to claim that there were no vaccine-related adverse events in pregnant women caused by the vaccine.
“This baseless and fallacious assessment by the CDC assessment group has given the green light to the CDC’s Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) to continue their recommendation to give the 2010/11 flu shot to all people, including pregnant women,” explained Eileen Dannemann, director of the National Coalition of Organized Women, presenter of the information.
“This upcoming 2010/11 flu vaccine contains the same elements that are implicated in the killing of these fetuses, the H1N1 viral component and the neurotoxin mercury (Thimerosal). Additionally, it contains two other viral strains — a three-in-one shot for all people.”
Overall, the number of vaccine-related “fetal demise” reports increased by 2,440 percent in 2009 compared to previous years, which is even more shocking than the miscarriage statistic. Meanwhile, the CDC continues to lie to the public about the vaccine, urging everyone, including pregnant women, to get it.

Global revolt against dangerous inoculations gathers pace as U.S. health authorities launch flu jab PR machine.
eople in the Indian capital New Delhi have rejected the H1N1 shot en masse following the news that a separate measles inoculation killed four children, as the global revolt against dangerous vaccinations, and specifically the swine flu scam, accelerates even in the face of government PR drives to make people take the combined swine flu/seasonal flu vaccine.
Residents of the capital city are willing to take their chances with catching the flu rather than taking vaccines that are attracting an increasingly controversial reputation in light of numerous recent instances worldwide where inoculations have caused illnesses, debilitating diseases and even sudden death.
As we reported on Monday, a measles vaccination program in India was halted after four children died almost immediately after receiving the shot. Indian newspaper reports carried eyewitness accounts of what happened. “The four children were reported to have fainted soon after they were vaccinated and witnesses reported seeing the children’s eyes roll back as they began to have seizures,” reported Blitz.
Furious villagers reacted to the tragedy by going on a rampage, attacking health workers and holding government doctors hostage.
The story has contributed to increasing distrust of health authorities in the country, and ensured that take up of newly marketed swine flu vaccines is virtually non-existent. A survey of popular chemists in Delhi found that none of them had been able to sell as few as 10 doses of the vaccine in a whole month
“Many health workers in Delhi government hospitals have also refused to get themselves vaccinated due to fear of side-effects,” reports The Times of India, with 40 per cent of vaccines for health workers provided by the government remaining unused.
“In the past one month, we have been able to sell only two pieces of the 10-dose viale. The response to the injectible vaccines has been lukewarm. The nasal vaccines are also not doing any better,” said R Nath, owner of the Connaught Place-based Nath Bros chemist shop. Another chemist shopowner based in Hauz Khas said they are not selling the vaccine at all. “We were not able to sell the vaccines in retail. There were no bulk orders from private hospitals, corporates or doctors either. So, we had to stop the sales,” he added.
This mass rejection of the swine flu vaccine, despite intensive government PR campaigns to convince the population to take it, was mirrored across many other major countries even at the height of the H1N1 scare. In France and Germany for example, just 6 per cent of the population took the swine flu shot. The government and health ministry of Poland refused to buy any stocks of H1N1 vaccine whatsoever, citing concerns about its safety and the honesty of the pharmaceutical companies responsible for its production. This rejection was partly a response to a 2008 trial for a bird flu vaccine, following which three Polish doctors and six nurses faced criminal charges after the vaccine killed 21 homeless people who were participating in the test.
The Czech Republic rejected a swine flu vaccine produced by pharmaceutical manufacturer Baxter after the company was caught shipping vaccines contaminated with deadly live H5N1 avian flu virus to 18 countries via a lab at its Austrian branch.
As we reported earlier this year, Chair of the Council of Europe’s Sub-committee on Health Wolfgang Wodarg’s investigation into the 2009 swine flu outbreak found that the pandemic was a fake hoax manufactured by pharmaceutical companies in league with the WHO.
Wodarg said that governments were “threatened” by special interest groups within the pharmaceutical industry as well as the WHO to buy the vaccines and inject their populations without any reasonable scientific reason for doing so. Wodarg said there was “no other explanation” for what happened than the fact that the WHO worked in cahoots with the pharmaceutical industry to manufacture the panic in order to generate vast profits.
As Natural News’ Mike Adams reported, several members of the Emergency Committee expert panel that advised the World Health Organization (WHO) during the swine flu scare were receiving financial support from pharmaceutical manufacturers either during or prior to the epidemic.
Finland recently suspended its swine flu vaccine program after the shot was linked with a 300 per cent increase in cases of the neurological disorder narcolepsy amongst children and young people over the last six months. The seasonal flu vaccine has also been linked with convulsions and fits in under-5’s, prompting doctors in the UK to suspend use of a particular flu shot produced by Pfizer.
Both H1N1 and seasonal flu shots have been linked with a number of different side-effects across the globe, including Guillain-Barré Syndrome as well as dystonia, a paralyzing neurological disorder.
With flu season now approaching, health authorities in the United States are busy pushing jabs that will combine both the seasonal flu vaccine and the H1N1 shot. However, a recent Rasmussen poll found that 52 per cent of Americans were concerned about the safety of vaccines, as parents become more educated about the threat of such inoculations, which at best are a pointless money making scam for pharmaceutical companies, and at worst represent a serious health threat to our children.
Watch the clip below in which Alex Jones puts out a public call for parents to think twice before injecting their children with dangerous vaccines before the upcoming flu season.Global revolt against dangerous inoculations gathers pace as U.S. health authorities... more

GPs have been told not to use a particular flu jab on 110,000 children under five after it was linked with a tenfold increase in fits, it can be revealed.
Children under five are only routinely vaccinated against seasonal flu if they are in designated 'risk groups' because they have chronic asthma Photo: ALAMY
Doctors should stock alternative vaccines for under fives who are due to have the seasonal flu vaccine this winter, a letter from the head of immunisation at the Department of Health has said.
The action is being taken as rate of convulsions caused by high fever among children in Australia given the jab was ten times higher than normal.
p to one in 100 children given the jab, made in Australia by CSL and marketed in the UK by Pfizer, suffered febrile convulsions in the following hours and days.
It is not known what is causing the problem and no other flu vaccines have been linked to an increased risk of fits. Adults given the vaccine do not appear to have been affected.
Children under five are only routinely vaccinated against seasonal flu if they are in designated 'risk groups' because they have chronic asthma, have been admitted to hospital with a respiratory infection previously or have other long-term conditions which means they would be particularly badly affected if they caught flu.
Seasonal flu vaccines contain three strains which have been identified by the World Health Organisation as the most common in circulation that year. This year the vaccines contain the pandemic strain H1N1.
The letter to all GPs from Prof David Salisbury, said: "Epidemiological information from Australia indicates that there has been a higher than expected increase in febrile convulsions in children related to the use of Fluvax (manufactured by CSL).
"This is the same product that will be marketed in the UK by Pfizer as Enzira and generic influenza vaccine for the 2010/11 influenza vaccination season.
"Evidence from Australia suggests a rate of febrile convulsions of about one per 100 for children who were vaccinated with Fluvax. This increased risk appears to be a product specific reaction and evidence from Australia of vaccination with other products has so far not indicated a similar level of risk.
"It is important that children over six months of age who are in clinical risk groups receive influenza vaccination. Given the availability of other influenza vaccine products, you should avoid offering Enzira or CSL Biotherapies generic influenza vaccine marketed by Pfizer to children aged under five years."
He added that the medicines regulator will be monitoring the situation.
Febrile convulsions affect around one in 20 children and are normally caused by an infection. The body reacts to the high fever with the child losing consciousness and their legs and arms jerk. They may go pale or turn blue briefly and after a few minutes the shaking normally stops.
The attacks can be very frightening for parents and children are usually admitted to hospital after the first convulsion to establish the cause. Some children are particularly prone to them but they are not normally dangerous.
In Australia, which is in its winter, stopped vaccinating all children under five when the increased rate of convulsions was found. It has since restarted vaccinating with other products.
A spokesman for Pfizer said: "The cause of the unexpected increased frequency of febrile convulsions remains unknown and investigations continue. Pfizer and CSL are working closely with regulatory authorities, health agencies and distribution partners to determine the most appropriate way to provide influenza vaccine for the Northern Hemisphere 2010/2011 influenza season.
"While, Pfizer supports the current precautionary approach to the use of our influenza vaccine in children under five years of age, it should be noted that the vast majority of patients in the UK receiving the influenza vaccine are adults, and febrile convulsions are not seen in the adult population.
"In addition, there is no evidence that the vaccine poses any increased risks to other groups, including pregnant women and those aged over 65.
"Pfizer and CSL are committed to ensuring the quality and safety our products. Pfizer is in ongoing dialogue with the Department of Health to help ensure the successful implementation of the 2010/11 Flu immunisation programme."
A spokesman for the Department of Health said: "As part of the Australian flu vaccination programme, a number of children were given a brand of flu vaccine known as Enzira (Fluvax in Australia). A small proportion of these children, aged under 5, had fits after they had this vaccine.
"The vaccine is also marketed in the UK as CSL Biotherapies generic influenza vaccine. It contains three strains of the flu virus that experts predict are most likely to be around this winter including swine flu (H1N1).
"We are asking GPs in the UK to avoid offering this vaccine to the under 5s in the coming flu season, there are several other vaccines available that are suitable for this age group. There is currently no indication that the vaccine poses any increased risks to other groups.
"Having the flu jab remains the best protection against flu and we recommend that people get vaccinated when they’re offered it in the autumn."GPs have been told not to use a particular flu jab on 110,000 children under five... more

DNA-vaccines are still untested and unsafe, but the Army is working to develop a new class of inoculations that can be rapidly developed and rapidly delivered to servicemen and civilians alike during times of outbreak or emergency.
The approach would utilize a gas-powered ‘gene-gun’ to blast multi-agent DNA-vaccines directly into cells without the use of needles, then stimulate the dosage with ‘electroporation,’ a technique the Army intends to become non-invasive but currently involves surgical exposure to muscle tissue. The mild shock can cause pain and tissue damage.
For gene gun delivery, DNA vaccines are coated onto microscopic gold beads and are deposited into skin cells by gas propulsion. Intramuscular electroporation involves injecting the DNA then quickly applying short electrical pulses to the delivery site. The electrical charge causes temporary pores to form in cellular membranes and facilitates uptake of the DNA vaccines. Electroporation has been found to greatly improve immune responses to DNA vaccines as compared to injection alone, and it allows for delivery of larger quantities of DNA in a single dose, making it suitable for multiagent vaccine delivery.
Central to the scheme is the combination of multiple-vaccine agents. The Army has solicited for the crystallization of the partially-tested vaccine applicator, which after meeting sufficient delivery design, must demonstrate “the combination of at least three DNA vaccines of interest to the military.” This indicates the likelihood that the number of vaccines given troops and the public would increase– a greater degree of medication to meet a ‘growing’ threat from genetically-engineered biological agents and pandemics.
It would also signal a new epoch of vaccinating the public. Thus-far untested synthetic-DNA strands would interact with the human body on a mass-scale for the first time, while the dosing of three or more strands would mark a strong interaction that could have unforeseen reactions in combination. Alternately, it would be more difficult to trace back dangerous vaccines based on symptoms developed after the fact when delivered together.
According to the Army, mastering the process would mean not only more quickly designed vaccinations, but a quicker interaction with the immune system. Further, dosing would be quicker because each recipient would not need a fresh needle, and the contact-free ‘gene gun’ would allow rapid person-to-person administration.
DNA vaccines can be rapidly engineered, readily combined and present minimal safety risks… the technology would also provide both civilian and military populations with a path toward rapid response to unknown, emerging, or genetically engineered pathogens.
Researchers have already exposed that vaccines represent a dangerous chemical interaction that cause brain damage, deadly auto-immune responses and more.
But Army vaccination plans aren’t just about disease resistance, it’s also about conditioning the ‘soldier of the future’– one pumped full of chemical ‘enhancements.’
The Daily Mail has reported on the development of inoculations to combat stress. “Academics say they are close to developing the first vaccine for stress – a single jab that would help us relax without slowing down.”
Similarly, the Pentagon has reportedly been investigating “pain vaccines” that would ideally “block the sense of pain for almost a month,” DARPA researcher Michael Goldblatt stated.
The military has also been eyeing “physical boosters” and “cognitive enhancers” to administer to troops through diet, pills or potentially vaccination delivery as well. The use of “Mitochondrial Energetics” to restore youthful vitality has been suggested, as has the use of modafinil, amphetimines and other stimulants to ‘keep pilots alert and awake’ during combat.
DARPA’s projection for the “Super Soldier of 2030″ includes the utilization of both “Cognitive enhancers” (nutritional, nootropic or other smart drugs) and “physical enhancers” (nutritional, pharmaceutical). “Consumer demand and scientific exploration will yield an explosion in cognitive and physical enhancers, including nootropic (smart) drugs, neural prosthetics, and permanent physical prosthetics,” the report states.
Military personnel are already pumped full of dozens of vaccines, and the perfection of the ‘gene gun’ would only put them one step closer to complete biological-and-chemical manipulation of the soldier.DNA-vaccines are still untested and unsafe, but the Army is working to develop a new... more

Council of Europe will investigate and debate on "Faked Pandemics"
In order to promote their patented drugs and vaccines against flu, pharmaceutical companies influenced scientists and official agencies, responsible for public health standards to alarm governments worldwide and make them squander tight health resources for inefficient vaccine strategies and needlessly expose millions of healthy people to the risk of an unknown amount of side-effects of insufficiently tested vaccines.
The "birds-flu"-campaign (2005/06) combined with the "swine-flu"-campaign seem to have caused a great deal of damage not only to some vaccinated patients and to public health-budgets, but to the credibility and accountability of important international health-agencies.
The Council of Europe and its member-states should ask for immediate investigations and consequences on their national levels as well as on the international level.
The definition of an alarming pandemic must not be under the influence of drug-sellers.
When in April 2009 some hundred normal influenza cases in Mexico City were rashly announced to be the beginning of a threatening new pandemic, there was little scientific evidence for this judgement. Nevertheless a large and immediate word-wide agenda setting process started and was eagerly spread by alarmist media and formally legitimized by pandemic-defining WHO, the agency, which is our global epidemiological watchdog and task-force.
Besides this, vaccination programs against influenza are already established in most of the exposed countries as an annual routine. They are regularly taking into account all expected varieties of flu-viruses to bundle their antigen fragments in a well-adjusted polyvalent vaccine.
But around the Mexican outbreak, WHO in cooperation with some big pharmaceutical companies and their scientists re-defined pandemics and lowered the alarm-threshold. Those new standards forced politicians in most states to react immediately and sign marketing commitments for additional and new vaccines against "swine-flu" and spend billions of dollars to catch up with the alarming scenario that Big Pharma, media and WHO were spreading.Council of Europe will investigate and debate on "Faked Pandemics"

Wodarg has criticized measures against the H1N1 swine flu as "one of the biggest medical scandals of the century."
He said pharamaceutical industry's influence on scientists and government officials caused millions of healthy people exposed unnecessarily to risks of an inadequately tested vaccine, despite H1N1 swine flu virus being "much less harmful“ than 2008 seasonal flu, causing not even a tenth of usual deaths associated with flu.
Wodarg has criticised pharmaceutical companies' gigantic profits at tax payer's expense and willingness to inflict bodily harm“ for profits, noting the H1N1 vaccine adjuvants were hardly tested.
Burgemeister highlights the dangerous H1N1 vaccine paralysis inadequately recorded and reported as the National Vaccination Information Center has been informing the public for thirty years.

Shaanker said: “These species may provide an opportunity for India to break China’s monopoly on shikimic acid but we thought it would be best to keep the identity of the trees secret to avoid unplanned exploitation.”
Further work is now needed to asses the extraction process and the distribution of the potential shikimic acid sources to establish their economic viability.
One big advantage the Indian plants have over the currently established Chinese source is that the shikimic acid levels were detected in leaves, unlike the star anise that requires the fruit to be harvested.
Star anise fruits have been shown to contain higher levels of shikimic acid than the Indian plants but the use of leaves offers far greater biomass to harvest, which could make it more economically attractive.Shaanker said: “These species may provide an opportunity for India to break... more

"The 2009 swine flu outbreak is the spread of a new strain of H1N1 influenza virus that was first detected by public health agencies in March 2009. Local outbreaks of influenza-like illness were detected in three areas in Mexico, but the presence of this new strain was not discovered for a full month. Following this discovery, in the United States bordering Mexico, its presence was swiftly confirmed in the local outbreaks in Mexico, and in isolated cases elsewere. Its presence was suspected on most continents, with over 1,800 candidate cases by April 27."

Now there's enough swine flu vaccine for everyone in 24 states, but will they get it?
By MIKE STOBBE AP Medical Writer
ATLANTA December 16, 2009 (AP)
After weeks of shortages, swine flu vaccine is plentiful enough that nearly half the states now say everyone can get it, not just people in high-risk groups.

After shortages, swine flu vaccine is plentiful enough that nearly half the states now say everyone can get it, not just those in priority groups. (AP Photo/Don Ryan, file)
(AP)But the good news comes with a challenge for health officials: how to keep persuading people to get vaccinated when swine flu infections are waning.
"We're worried that people might be thinking out of sight, out of mind," said Tom Skinner, a spokesman for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
Health authorities say that getting vaccinated could be a lifesaver if a new wave of illnesses materializes this winter.
The swine flu vaccine supply started with just a trickle from manufacturers in early October, leading doctors to reserve it for pregnant women, people with asthma, children and young adults, and others at high risk of becomingly severely ill.
But now 95 million doses are available, and 10 million more are coming out every week. Health officials in 24 states have lifted their recommended restrictions, as have communities in other states, said Paula Steib, spokeswoman for the Association of State and Territorial Health Officials.
The vaccine is so abundant in some places that it is now being given out at drugstores, in addition to doctors' offices and clinics.
Some places are seeing pent-up demand. In Minnesota, a county health department clinic in suburban Minneapolis opened up early and gave out 150 shots in the first two hours on Wednesday — the first day vaccinations were available to everyone in that state.
Among those in line was Bill Haugen. He escaped swine flu when it swept through the collection agency where he works, and he was worried about its return. "I don't want to bring it home to my kids," said Haugen, 31, who has two young children.
More than 100 mostly healthy people showed up for vaccinations at a Walgreens pharmacy in downtown Chicago on Tuesday, the day the Illinois' public health department lifted its restrictions.
Larry Richmond, a Chicago lawyer who is not in any high-risk group, stopped at the pharmacy Wednesday morning on his way to work. "I'm concerned about the spread of the virus and thought it the prudent thing to do," he said.
In Atlanta, an Emory University student health center started offering the shots to all comers last week, just before students went on winter break. Hundreds showed up.
Demand is also high in parts of the country that still have widespread reports of swine flu illness, including New York and parts of New England, health officials say.
But demand appears to be down in many areas where infections are dropping — and more and more states are falling into that category.
In late October, 48 states were reporting widespread swine flu illnesses. That turned out to be the peak of the fall wave. By the first week of December, only 14 states had widespread cases, and experts believe the count has fallen more since then.
CDC officials estimate the virus has sickened one in six Americans — 50 million people — and killed about 10,000 since the virus was first identified in April. It has caused unusually high numbers of serious illnesses in young adults and middle-age people.
But overall, it is not causing more deaths and hospitalizations than ordinary seasonal flu, and many people are not particularly worried about getting it.
Last week, the Department of Health and Human Services launched a new campaign to keep up interest in vaccinations, warning that flu is unpredictable and that another wave of cases could hit this winter. Now there's enough swine flu vaccine for everyone in 24 states, but will they get... more

While headlines decry the rising H1N1 death toll, news is emerging that there have been no more deaths from this pandemic than from seasonal flu.
A November 20 article on canada.com reported Canada's Chief Health Officer, Dr. David Butler-Jones, as saying that, "the mortality rate from this (H1N1) is no worse than seasonal flu."
A November 20 article in the Ottawa Citizen notes that all but one vaccination clinic are being closed because peak demand has passed.
An article in the November 20 Vancouver Sun indicates that the second wave seems to be easing off in Alberta.
An article in the November 20 Edmonton Sun quoted Dr. Gerry Predy, senior medical officer of health for Alberta Health Services, as saying, "I think we haven't seen the worst in terms of the number of severe illnesses and other people who will require more critical care."
As of November 19, H1N1 appears to have claimed the lives of 250 Canadians, according to the Public Health Agency of Canada. In any other year, between 750 and 2500 Canadians die of the flu in a year.
The numbers are similar in the US (where about 4000 have died this year rather than the usual 36,000 annual flu-related deaths) and globally.
So why is H1N1 being called a pandemic? In fact, the flu outbreak every year is considered at least a level 1 pandemic.
What are the differences between the H1N1 pandemic and the usual seasonal flu pandemic? The primary differences seem to be three-fold: H1N1 hit earlier than regular flu season, there's been more activity in the northern hemisphere than usual, and while the regular flu hits elderly people with the highest mortality rate, H1N1 is infecting largely young people.
Why is this flu impacting young people hardest? One theory is that the last time the swine flu hit was in the 1960s, so people who lived through that have antibodies while younger people do not. While some of the young people who have died have been otherwise healthy, for the most part it is young people with underlying medical conditions who have died.Nov 20, 2009 by ■ Lynne Melcombe

Google "Joseph Moshe" to reveal more information. H5N1 is real, and is being used by big pharma, and covered up by government agencies. It's happening.
"The mystery and disinformation surrounding H1N1 and the Ukraine nightmare are put in focus. Something about this story just doesn’t add up and there have been inexplicable developments right from day one.
It’s got so bad that no-one may now trust government sources or even the WHO.
Some have speculated that mass genocide is the ultimate aim. Nothing in this story contradicts that possibility. There have been accusations that Baxter has released deliberately virulent organisms, designed to reduce the Earth’s population. Nothing said or done by Baxter gives any reassurance that this could not be true!
The specter of a scientist who criticized Baxter being gassed, tazed and dragged from his vehicle on the streets of Los Angeles is hard to accept, in any terms. The US is under marshal law in all but name."

Did I miss something? Since when has the CDC catered to the beck and call of financial giant and Wall Street hustler Goldman Sachs?
The Wall Street banking giant, which has benefitted from the financial bailout of 2008 and received a huge financial winfall in 2009, has just scored 200 doses of the H1N1 swine flu vaccine. This is the same amount Lenox Hill Hospital was given by the CDC for struggling at-risk men, women, children, and senior citizens.
The only thing left to ask is of the 200 doses being given to a firm whose staff is five times the number of doses, who's going to reap the benefit in getting vacinated there?
Even SNL had to slam Goldman Sachs and the CDC for this one.Did I miss something? Since when has the CDC catered to the beck and call of... more

Only about a third of adults who have tried to get a swine flu vaccine have been able to get it, according to a new national poll released Friday.
That's true even for people who are at extra risk for severe complications and should be at the front of the line. The numbers are about the same for parents who tried to get the vaccine for their children, the Harvard School of Public Health poll found.
Swine flu vaccine has been available in the United States for about a month, but supplies have been limited because of manufacturing delays. However, availability is picking up, said Dr. Anne Schuchat of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. About 38 million doses of swine flu are currently available, a one-week increase of about 11 million doses. Another 8 million doses are expected next week, she added.
Overall, the poll found about 80 percent of the adults in priority groups said they haven't tried to get it yet and 60 percent of parents haven't sought it out for their kids.
The Harvard telephone poll surveyed about 1,000 adults last weekend. The margin of error was plus or minus 3.8 percentage points.
Many of the poll's findings seemed consistent with what the government has been hearing and seeing, said CDC officials. Nearly a third of Americans who tried and failed to get vaccine said they were very frustrated, the poll found, and that frustration has been evident at long lines at vaccination clinics.
But it was encouraging to see that nine in 10 people who couldn't get vaccine will try again, said Schuchat, who heads the CDC's National Center for Immunization and Respiratory Diseases.
The poll also found:
About 5 percent of those surveyed said they'd been vaccinated.
About 60 percent said there were swine flu vaccine shortages in their community.
About half who tried couldn't find information about where to get the vaccine.
Because of limited supplies, there have been situations in which vaccine went to doctor's offices or clinics intended for children or other priority groups and it wasn't publicized, Schuchat said.
