The OS that netbook owners might be waiting for looks like its getting interesting with a fresh set of screenshots just leaked onto the net. Bear in mind they could be fake but even so it looks like Google are on the right track.

Google's releasing an OS. Will compete directly with Microsoft, Apple, Linux. Seems like a good thing. Are you interested? Would you run a Google OS?
"Google Chrome OS is an open source, lightweight operating system that will initially be targeted at netbooks. Later this year we will open-source its code, and netbooks running Google Chrome OS will be available for consumers in the second half of 2010.
