Renegade X is both a singleplayer and multiplayer game. On January 28th 2012, Totem Arts released Renegade X: Black Dawn. It is a free, standalone, short 1-2 hour single player game. Although most of Renegade X’s aspirations are in the multiplayer realm, in mid-2010, developer decided that a short campaign would precede their upcoming standalone multiplayer beta.
Black Dawn is a demonstration of what is to come in the future. The release date of the final multiplayer version is still to be announced, so it would be good for you to have something to play while you wait. This demonstration is complete with a short 10-part campaign, custom cinematics and fantastic gameplay. It will be an opportunity for you to get used to all the weapons, vehicles, characters, and changes before the upcoming multiplayer release.Renegade X is both a singleplayer and multiplayer game. CFD!'s Scott Thompson has commanded and conquered his way through the final chapter of EA's classic RTS franchise. Does Tiberian Twilight close the venerable franchise on a high note? Sadly, it doesn't look that way...
"If reports are to be believed, then after 15 years the Command & Conquer series is coming to an end. With the release of Command & Conquer 4: Tiberian Twilight, EA has decided to lay one of real-time strategy gaming’s forefathers to rest. Unfortunately for us, Grandpa C&C decided to get a little cosmetic work done for his last outing, and the areas of injection are all too noticeable. After years of proudly delivering its own RTS style, C&C4 has gone and aped the finer elements of games around it, forging some only slightly enjoyable mishmash of a game."

"As of right now, you need to be online all the time to play C&C 4. This is primarily due to our 'player progression' feature so everything can be tracked. C&C 4 is not an MMO in the sense of World of Warcraft, but conceptually it has similar principles for being online all the time," Community Leader APOC wrote. No matter what mode you're playing, no matter what you're doing, if you want to play Command and Conquer 4, you're going to need to have a working Internet connection."As of right now, you need to be online all the time to play C&C 4.
