Up in the Air Teaser Trailer from JoBlo.
Can this truly be humpday if it is a 4-day week? Oh, the questions we pose to our intern while she's ripping videos. But there is a bit of news, a teaser trailer and even TWO POSTERS--one of which is lame, the other a gigantic hilarious spoiler. Let's go!
-Nicholas Cage leaves The Green Hornet because clearly he's a serious actor. And his soul is still dancing. [Heat Vision]
-The teaser for Up in the Air is perfectly fine and the best thing you'll watch today. So, there. [/film]
-At The Movies is a good show and you should watch it, even if you don't think it is ADORBS or if you're THE YOUNG. [Indie Eye]
-Hey, there's a poster for a documentary about Michael Jackson we've never seen before! [Collider]
-Huh. John Hillcoat may be adapting The Death of Bunny Munro. Huh. [Cinematical]
-SPEAKING OF ANTICHRIST POSTERS. [The Playlist]
-Kennedy Center Honors will include Robert De Niro and Mel Brooks this year. [NYT]

Monday seems a bit shocking as Disney will acquire Marvel Entertainment, The Final Destination was the most popular movie this weekend and The Green Hornet is delayed. Oh and there are more sequels to franchise films.
-The only thing I can really wonder about Disney buying Marvel: what happens to Universal Studios? [Current]
-The Final Destination opens with $28.3 million. Which is interesting. [Current]
-Bad Boys 3 is "in development" with scripter Peter Craig, which is annoying as there are four guys with the name. [/film]
-RAMBO 5 IS ALL UP IN YOUR GRILL, MOTHERLICKERS. MEXICO. DRUGS. SHOOTAN. [F'N VARIETY]
The Green Hornet will be a "Christmas Movie" instead of a Summer Movie. Or something. [Current]

It's Thursday once again, which means a brand new episode of The Rotten Tomatoes Show tonight where we review G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra, Paper Heart and Julie & Julia. In the mean time, the directing/marketing geniuses behind The Blair Witch Project want to make their own sequel, you need tickets for a teaser trailer screening of Avatar and Sony Pictures swoops in for the vid-distrib arm of Terry Gilliam' Doctor Parnassus. Let's go!
On the 10th Anniversary of Blair Witch in the UK, Eduardo Sanchez and Daniel Myrick want to make a sequel. Unaware one was made without them. Or something. [Current]
Turns out Avatar Day will be a ticketed event for a 16-min. teaser trailer and only shown twice. [Film Drunk]
Sony Pictures will distribute The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus on home video. Better than nothing. [Current]
Cameron Diaz spoils another film by admitting she's in The Green Hornet. [MTV Splash Page]
Indie Filmmakers now use emerging technology to promote their film. Related: Sky is blue. [NYT]
Jon Heder is in a movie based on a sci-fi story about Buddy Holly. I don't care and am annoyed. [Collider]
There is a new trailer for Robogeisha. Your guess is still as good as anyone's about the plot. [Twitch]

The name may change, but the story's always the same when it comes to Important News. So, to crib a line from Connor, we've got you covered. And I'll also prove we can have intra-office copyright infringement! But before that, let's take a gander at why Michel Gondry's Green Hornet is in need of a new Kato, a complaint from Brüno's "terrorist" and Jackie Chan confirms the obvious.
A recent casting call for Green Hornet reveals that Stephen Chow may have completely dropped out, or maybe he didn't. Who knows! [Current]
It turns out that terrorist from Brüno may just be a former terrorist. [FilmDrunk]
Jackie Chan will get his Miyagi on with the Karate Kid inspired Kung-Fu Kid. Still will be awful. [Current]
Morgan Spurlock will direct a Simpsons documentary. Ok. [/Film]
Denzel Washington leaves another Scott train movie. [Movieline]
You've seen it before, now see it again when The Hangover meets Dude, Where's My Car? [Current]
