4/19/11 - So yesterday was tax day, and that of all days was when the rating agency S&P decided to publicly scold the US leaders, and their constituents, by downgrading their ‘outlook’ for the whole Country. We’re “spending too much money” was the basic message. Even our international banking children, the IMF and the World Bank, agree; Cut spending to go along with the decade of bipartisanly instituted tax-rate decreases, or else.
http://current.com/news/93162037_s-p-cuts-u-s-rating-outlook-to-negative-kicks-taxpayers-in-the-teeth.htm
Or else what, you might ask? Most would answer that it would have negative consequences for our economy. Bloomberg was quick to point out yesterday that S&P’s mere perception of trouble ahead caused the markets to tank:
*Stocks Sink on U.S. Credit Outlook as Euro Falls on Debt Crises*
“U.S. stocks sank the most in a month, oil slid and gold rose to a record after Standard & Poor’s cut the American credit outlook to negative and concern about Europe’s debt crisis grew.”
http://www.bloomberg.com/news/2011-04-18/euro-weakens-on-greece-debt-concerns-oil-snaps-three-day-gain-kiwi-drops.html
Seems pretty clear to me; We’re not going to be able to afford Europe’s world-class infrastructure because we’re too much in debt already. Implied is; Europe is a perfect example of what happens when you over-borrow to improve society, and the US is a perfect example of what happens when you over-borrow to blow them up. Too bad for us it seems…..we should have made better choices years ago.
Then this comes along this morning:
*MarketWatch: Is this the final stage of the bull market?*
“I believe [the numbers] are currently telling us that the market is now at a stage in the fear-greed cycle that either represents the top for the uptrend that has been underway since March 2009, or we are being given one last chance to load up on equities before the current uptrend enters what will prove to be the final (but far and away most profitable, mind you) stage of said bull market…….. Perhaps I am wrong, and the market will decide to “drift sideways” for several months in order to frustrate bulls and bears alike……”
http://www.marketwatch.com/story/is-this-the-final-stage-of-the-bull-market-2011-04-18?dist=beforebell
So let me get this straight, the market might go up and be “most profitable”, or it might drift sideways, or as you said yesterday it might tank. Did I get that right? Yesterday the markets were convulsing over the budget, today futures are up and the markets opened higher.
Which begs the question; Do any of these ass-clowns know what’s going to happen in the future any more than you do? The truth is, they don’t. They do, however, have better information than you do and quicker computers executing programs to take advantage of the market in ways your pension and 401k can only dream of:
“The new cream-skimming trick in Wall Street's playbook is called High Frequency Trading, or HFT.
It works like this: big trading banks invest in super-computers that can process information at every faster speeds, splitting nano-seconds into smaller and smaller units. These super-computers can process instructions faster than regular computers, and much faster than humans. Next, they place these super-computers in the exchanges themselves. This gives direct access to the exchange, cutting out the latency of connections from remote locations. By trading faster than smaller investors, profits can be constantly churned.”
http://www.economywatch.com/economy-business-and-finance-news/high-frequency-trading-hft-wall-streets-latest-scam-18-08.html
Great. Wall Street’s biggest institutions are playing your 401k’s and pension funds for chumps. They artificially manipulate the market, up, down, and sideways extracting profit no matter the conditions. Rules have even been created so that they can borrow the stocks and bonds in your retirement accounts to make money on whenever they choose:
*Short Selling Explained*
“Selling a stock short basically means that you buy the stock when it's high with the intention of selling it when it's lower. The way this works is that the investor makes a "short" trade with his broker. This trade tells the broker to lend the investor a certain amount of shares at the current price. Rather than keeping these shares held in an account, they're sold immediately and the investor is given the value of how much they are worth…….when the investor thinks that the stock is low enough, he puts in a "short cover" order with his broker that allows him to buy back the shares. He or she then returns the shares to the broker and keeps the difference between the price he originally sold it for and what he bought it back for.”
http://www.stockjargon.com/articles/stocks/short.html
So there you have it. Rating Agencies like the S&P that are paid by Wall Street’s biggest investment banks have a vested interest in periodically producing news that gyrates the markets. Average Americans with 401k’s and other pension accounts for retirement savings always loose when markets go down, but Wall Street benefits either way.
So what does this have to do with the budget? Not much directly, but that’s a story for a different day. For now rest comfortably knowing that cuts to the budget will benefit some people, and those people are not you.

By Hossein Askari and Noureddine Krichene
In his speech at the National Press Club in early February, Federal Reserve chairman Ben Bernanke downplayed, or some might say rejected, the notion that the Fed's sustained loose monetary policy had had an impact on record global food prices.
"I think it's entirely unfair to attribute excess demand in emerging markets to US monetary policy. Those nations can use their own monetary policy and adjust exchange rates to deal with their inflation problems," Bernanke said. "It's really up to emerging markets to find appropriate tools to balance their own growth.
"The Fed's policies are aimed at growing the domestic economy and to address stability in the United States. For some foreign countries facing high inflation, their policies have not been such to keep growth and capacity in balance.
"Supply and demand abroad for commodities, not US monetary policy, are causing higher food and energy prices rattling much of the world. Strong growth in emerging economies is moving millions of people from poverty to the middle class, changing their eating habits - more beef and less grains and so on."
It is not too surprising that Bernanke has consistently argued that countries that face food price inflation and riots have only themselves to blame for not adopting appropriate monetary and exchange rate policies. In fact, it is highly unlikely that the Fed will ever admit any relationship between food prices that are determined in financial markets and the US$600 billion of money that the Fed is pumping into these markets at near zero interest rate.
Similarly, the recent report on the causes of the financial crisis carefully avoided any blame on the Fed, with most of the culpability placed on greed and regulators.
Paul Krugman, writing in the New York Times on February 6, absolved the Fed of any responsibility and argued: "... the evidence tells a different, much more ominous story. While several factors have contributed to soaring food prices, what really stands out is the extent to which severe weather events have disrupted agricultural production. And these severe weather events are exactly the kind of thing we'd expect to see as rising concentrations of greenhouse gases change our climate - which means that the current food price surge may be just the beginning."
While the unprecedented high level of food prices is a result of the confluence of a number of factors, including bad weather, export restriction in surplus countries and hoarding, the culpability of monetary policy should be also included in the mix.

The signifying aurora that accompanies the use of a HAARP type of weapon could be seen in China, Indonesia, Haiti, Chile, and I'd be willing to bet they were seen in Japan. I recently posted an article where Secretary of Defense, William Cohen admits that HAARP type weapons can be used to create earthquakes, alter the weather and even set off volcanoes. This is what is happening, I believe, and if so, we are in for a roller-coaster of events over the next few years. They could either be trying to simulate the effects of Global Warming to push the World Government or they could be trying to simulate a 2012 type situation to use fear to initiate martial law and tyrrany. Either way, what do we do now?The signifying aurora that accompanies the use of a HAARP type of weapon could be seen... more

I think this pretty much ends the debate on whether governments can control the weather, cause earthquakes or even volcanoes using HAARP type of electro-magnetic waves! Now, can we quit calling it a 'conspiracy' and Chavez is crazy and do something about it?
This is straight from Secretary of Defense William S. Cohen
Others are engaging even in an eco- type of terrorism whereby they can alter the climate, set off earthquakes, volcanoes remotely through the use of electromagnetic waves.
The rest of his speech at the DoD News Briefing can be read at the link above:
Remember the word, HAARP. No, not global warming, not accidental earthquakes, eco-terrorism using electromagnetic waves. This is coming from the freaking SECRETARY OF DEFENSE.
Debate over, hear me, debate over, HAARP can cause earthquakes, alter the climate and even trigger volcanoes. This is crimes against humanity and must be stopped.I think this pretty much ends the debate on whether governments can control the... more

In today’s Time Magazine online we learn that in the State of Vermont, among perhaps the most left leaning population in the Union, a secessionist movement has started in the wake of these unpopular wars. They have a slate of anti-war and secessionist candidates and they are running for office in the state. The piece is entitled Secessionist Campaign for the Republic of Vermont .
It seems that roughly 13% of the state’s population presently claims that they support the movement. Here is an excerpt from the article:
“According to a 2007 poll, they have support from at least 13% of state voters. The campaign slogan, Naylor told me, is “Imagine Free Vermont.” In his fondest imaginings, Naylor said, Vermonters would not be “forced to participate in killing women and children in the Middle East.”
This is what happens when our nation continually engages in these ridiculous and unnecessary wars overseas without taking into account the wishes of her citizens.
This is what happens when Amerika places money and potential power grabs overseas ahead of the wishes of the people and instead caters to the whims of the military industrial complex, the emerging market manipulators, the war industry captains, the energy cartels and any other group that the Supreme Court has now given the powers of citizenship.
It is no accident that this is now public knowledge throughout the nation after the Supreme Court decided that money rules our political system.
No it does not.
We now face serious attempts at secession from citizens who have no intention of being ignored by the central government and its manipulating, puppet-master elites who constantly have access to the levers of power, regardless of the will of the citizens at large.
Fascism in our country is now facing a viable and growing citizens’ anti-war and secessionist movement willing to finance candidates who support state secession and an anti-war platform.
We are talking about civil war ultimately if this carries through to its logical end.
Does Washington D.C. understand this?
This is the ultimate result of generation upon generation of rule by the elites, rule by the Robber Barons, rule of money and its supposed power over the will of the people. One man, one vote cannot be ignored forever.
Money and its power is meaningless in this situation if civil war ensues because aware citizens realize that they have been preempted by money, power, position and ignorance of what it means to carry the burdens of working class America.
Don’t anybody ever say that I did not say for years, “I told you so!”

Information, possibilities, digital manipulation. Why does the powerline weave up and down in front of the pyramid? Why does the video only pixelate on the UFO?
The Norway Spiral.
The pyramid over the Kremlin in Russia.
Are they are related?
And what are they?
Current theories include
1 - a Failed Russian missile, which was quickly and readily accepted by most of the media and online community.
2 - Electromagnetic plasma light effects created by HAARP facilities near the source of the beam.
3 - Project Blue Beam an alleged project meant to eventually display some sort of media in the sky that will help influence society to come to accept a new world order and a one world government.
4 - Could be linked to recent high-energy experiments undertaken at the Large Hadron Collider in Switzerland.
5 - The pyramid could be an actual case of Extraterrestrial intervention due to the development of new technologies, either related to the Norway spiral as a failed missile test, or an entirely separate technology, be it atomic, nuclear, whatever.
6 - the Obama Nobel Peace Prize prelude to extraterrestrial disclosure?
7 - all the videos are created by any joe, any where, on a computer using adobe after effects or final cut pro.
- Why is there this strange pixelation only on the UFOs?
- And why is the power line only weaving in front of the pyramid?
Videos and stories like this are popping up all over the place, and people have also been discussing their thoughts on the date of December 21st, 2012.
Solar flares. Winter solstice. Rebirth?
Some speculate that the winter solstice of 2012 will mark our passing through the area of the milky way known as the birth canal, and that we will experience an ascension of sorts, and that is why the mayan calendar ended then.
I predict I can drop one more intangible, unprovable until it actual really really happens theory - or actually, this is a prediction that a prediction might come true. Sylvia Browne predicted that aliens will let themselves be known to us in 2010.
It seems the watched pot is finally beginning to boil perhaps?
Remember to keep an open heart and mind, do not worry about these things, be them real or not. You should live life to it's fullest and give it all that you've got.

"A student at Eagle Rock Junior High won first prize at the Greater Idaho Falls Science Fair, April 26.
He was attempting to show how conditioned we have become to alarmists practicing junk science and spreading fear of everything in our environment. In his project he urged people to sign a petition demanding strict control or total elimination of the chemical "dihydrogen monoxide."
And for plenty of good reasons, since:
it can cause excessive sweating and vomiting
it is a major component in acid rain
it can cause severe burns in its gaseous state
accidental inhalation can kill you
it contributes to erosion
it decreases effectiveness of automobile brakes
it has been found in tumors of terminal cancer patients
He asked 50 people if they supported a ban of the chemical.
Forty-three (43) said yes,
six (6) were undecided,
and only one (1) knew that the chemical was water.
The title of his prize winning project was, "How Gullible Are We?"
He feels the conclusion is obvious.

Report Shows Pfizer Fudged Drug Studies
by Julie Steenhuysen
CHICAGO - A study of internal company documents suggests Pfizer Inc altered or omitted unfavorable study findings to expand its epilepsy drug Neurontin's market, U.S. researchers said on Wednesday, offering a look at how drugmakers influence scientific research.
Clinical trials are supposed to answer a specific, predetermined scientific question, but a comparison of Pfizer documents and published studies on Neurontin for conditions other than epilepsy found that eight out of 20 study reports never made it into medical journals.
And in eight of the 12 published studies, the primary outcome -- the answer to the main scientific question -- was changed by Pfizer, the world's biggest drugmaker, from the original study design.
"There were a lot of primary outcomes that were shifted around between the planning of the protocol and the reporting of the study," said Kay Dickersin of Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, whose study appears in the New England Journal of Medicine.
"Some primary outcomes were lost altogether. Some were brand new. Some were secondary outcomes that were upgraded to primary," she said in a telephone interview.
The studies, all funded by Pfizer, showed how the drug worked in people with problems like migraines or pain, which are off-label uses of the drug.
Once a drug is approved, doctors are free to prescribe it as they see fit, and while companies are not permitted to market a drug for anything but the approved use, they can hand out reprints of studies published in medical journals showing how the drugs work in patients with different problems.
Dickersin got the documents while serving as an expert witness against Pfizer, which in 2004 paid $430 million to settle a lawsuit over illegal promotion of Neurontin.
Pfizer was sued again last year by lawyer Thomas Greene, who brought the original case against the company for off-label marketing practices, for holding back negative study results and changing the design of its trials to produce more favorable results.
That case was the latest in a string of allegations against the pharmaceutical industry suggesting it has controlled the flow of clinical trial research to boost its marketing position.
Pfizer spokesman Chris Loder said in a statement the suggestion that the company attempted to mislead the medical community is untrue and was "derived from a report created for litigation and coauthored by plaintiffs' expert witness."
Dickersin said the studies she reviewed are still not publicly available.
She said while there can be legitimate reasons to change a study's primary goal or endpoint, that change needs to be included in a formal amendment and published in a journal.
Not taking that step leaves a false impression, and in the case of companies, reveals the competing interests of scientists and marketing departments, she said.
To improve transparency, Dickersin said study protocols and primary endpoints should be required when companies register their clinical trials on the public database clinicaltrials.gov.
"It's important for us not to give up on trying to understand this because if we don't, the truth of science will not be upheld," she said.

A remarkable detail to be published in former Homeland Security Secretary Tom Ridge's soon-to-be-released book asserts that the Bush Administration attempted to wield the color-coded terror alert system for political gain -- a charge often leveled by Democrats but not previously confirmed by a high-ranking Bush Administration official.
Ridge's publisher is pushing details from his book in advance of its release. Notable among them:
"Tom Ridge, the first head of the 9/11-inspired Department of Homeland Security, wasn't keen on writing a tell-all. But in The Test of Our Times: America Under Siege...and How We Can Be Safe Again, out September 1, Ridge says he wants to shake "public complacency" over security.
"And to do that, well, he needs to tell all. Especially about the infighting he saw that frustrated his attempts to build a smooth-running department. Among the headlines promoted by publisher Thomas Dunne Books: Ridge was never invited to sit in on National Security Council meetings; was "blindsided" by the FBI in morning Oval Office meetings because the agency withheld critical information from him; found his urgings to block Michael Brown from being named head of the emergency agency blamed for the Hurricane Katrina disaster ignored; and was pushed to raise the security alert on the eve of President Bush's re-election, something he saw as politically motivated and worth resigning over."A remarkable detail to be published in former Homeland Security Secretary Tom... more

With all the Obama love going on, lets see what this train ride has to offer!
The basis' for Obama's election were 'hope', 'change', and 'believe'. Yet, why do we not know what these terms mean? What is there to hope for, when hope is always tomorrow? What is today but yesterdays tomorrow?
"Even people with some understanding of the conspiracy have said things like: 'Well, at least he's not Bush' and 'Well, at least it's great to see such a new spirit of hope'. No, he's not Bush - he's potentially far more dangerous; and what is the use of a spirit of 'hope' if it's based on a lie? In fact, what use is 'hope' at all?
Obama's wife, Michelle, who I wouldn't trust to tell me the date in a calendar factory, said that 'everything begins and ends with hope'. Utter nonsense. Hope is a meaningless emotion because its fruits are always in the future and, by definition, never in the NOW.
Hope is like riding a carousel horse; no matter how fast you go you never get closer to the one in front. The idea, however, is to persuade you to stay on the horse, despite the evitable disappointment, in the 'hope' that things will change. But they don't because the very system is designed to prevent it."
People, we can't feed our children, families or ourselves hope. What way is there to get people to believe in this non-sense than mass manipulation of the masses? Who is so arrogant to go through with such a plan than the broad smiling Obama? Use your own discresion and intuition to find out for yourself. Don't believe the hype.
A Quote from one of Obama's close mentor: Zbigniew Brzezinski
'Needed social reassessment ... can be encouraged by deliberate civic education that stresses the notion of service to a higher cause than oneself. As some have occasionally urged, a major step in that direction would be the adoption of an obligatory period of national service for every young adult, perhaps involving a variety of congressionally approved domestic or foreign good works.'
Also form his book "Between Two Ages: America's Role in the Technetronic Era" (1970!)
'The technetronic era involves the gradual appearance of a more controlled society. Such a society would be dominated by an elite, unrestrained by traditional values. Soon it will be possible to assert almost continuous surveillance over every citizen and maintain up-to-date complete files containing even the most personal information about the citizen. These files will be subject to instantaneous retrieval by the authorities.'
'Today we are again witnessing the emergence of transnational elites ... [Whose] ties cut across national boundaries ... It is likely that before long the social elites of most of the more advanced countries will be highly internationalist or globalist in spirit and outlook ... The nation-state is gradually yielding its sovereignty ... Further progress will require greater American sacrifices. More intensive efforts to shape a new world monetary structure will have to be undertaken, with some consequent risk to the present relatively favorable American position.'
