I finally saw the original one evening and I just don't get it. I'm not sure how something like that, so poorly done, poorly acted and poorly written generate $500 million dollars or more and have 160 million people see it. Then again I guess Michael Bay's Transformers should be added to the enigma. Oh well, brace for the sequel. IT'S HERE!!!I finally saw the original one evening and I just don't get it. While Barry's loooooonnnng chase of Hank Aaron has been thrilling to fans, its also been a huge boom financially for all involved: the last place Giants, MLB, the teams that have hosted the Giants (Dodgers, Padres, etc...). The chase for 755 has now produced 24 consecutive sellout crowds since July 5 in games involving Bonds and the Giants. Mays Field has sold-out like crazy for a last place team. Dodger Stadium - all 56,000 plus seats - sold out a late-July series. Petco Park sold-out for the first time in over a month. Liam Lynch is a musical genius, creative force and one of the artists of our time. His music is funny, insightful and irreverent. His video projects cause you to think in between laughs. He was one of the creators of Sifl and Olly, a cult classic from late 90s MTV. I am always interested in what he's going to come up with next. He also did that "United States of Whatever" song. ...and so on and so on...Liam Lynch is a musical genius, creative force and one of the artists of our time.... more
