...It took 5 full minutes of watching NBC’s sitcom, 100 Questions, before my friend and I realized it was an actual sitcom and not a commercial shtick making fun of terrible sitcoms. Once that realization set in, I didn’t know whether to feel insulted as a thinking primate that NBC would slap together such crap and serve it up in its Thursday night line-up to the same audience that has grown accustomed to the comedic talents of Tina Fey, Alec Baldwin, Steve Carell, Joel McHale and Amy Poehler, or whether I should feel concerned for the state of American audiences if viewers actually enjoy this program (which cannot be the case … it just can’t).
While it’s difficult to criticize the actors of 100 Questions because the script is so bad, one thing is for sure–the laugh track editing is ludicrous. Although this chimp gives 100 Questions a poo sling, I encourage you to watch the show, if only once for a few minutes, to witness the world’s worst use of the laugh track, which is louder than the actual actors and is edited-in precisely at the moment an actor delivers his/her lines, thus creating the illusion of a room full of insane audience members who laugh unnaturally early and inappropriately loud. It’s so weird, it’s surreal...

There was a promo for the show right before it started, and then the show started with a promo containing clips from the episode we’re about to watch. C’mon, ABC…I’m new at this. Don’t horn in on my gig. Jeez.
When we first meet Cheryl and Wolfgang West they are multi-tasking. In addition to scanning a BlackBerry and going over all of the various petty crime pies they have their fingers in, they’re also in bed getting down to other business. I’d have a callback to fingers and pies here, but this is a classy joint. Wouldn’t want to muck up the place with innuendo. Cheryl tells “Wolf” not to worry about anything, and to leave it in her “very capable hands,” one of which disappears off-screen towards Wolf’s full-frontal area. See…I don’t need to get clever with the double-entendres when the show is going to do it for me. Wolf still won’t let the work stuff go, and Cheryl orders him to shut up and get on top of her. Well, if he won’t, I will.

For a large chunk of Americans last night was a big, big night. After six long seasons ABC's run-away mystery hit "LOST" finally came to an end. And with promos promising "I'll you everything" this episode carried a lot of expectations on its shoulders.
Are you a LOST fan? How did you think this episode did at tying up all the loose ends? Did you leave the island satisfied?
From the LA Times review:
"'The End' chose not to tie up loose ends or make the mythology entirely make sense. It decided not to make more specific just why the Monster couldn't leave the Island or why the Island had to exist for the rest of the world to go on as it is (at least, that's how I'm interpreting the idea that the Island's heart going out would mean the end of everything). It probably figured that vague notions in these regards were all we needed."

NEW YORK (CNNMoney.com) -- Despite rising cable and satellite TV prices and easy access to streaming TV and movies on the Internet, few consumers have cut the cord. But that looks like it's about to change.
One in eight consumers will eliminate or scale back their cable, satellite or other pay-TV service this year, according to a new study released this week by Yankee Group.
The study, which was the result of a survey of pay-TV operators and more than 6,000 U.S. consumers, found that many will choose to drop premium channels or cut their service down to a basic package, while others will choose to cut off their service completely.
A cutting-the-cord trend has been the subject of speculation for some time, as networks have increasingly made television programming available for free on the Internet. But a combination of other factors, including a growing number of battles between cable companies and networks, soaring Internet video viewings and an increase in connected TVs and devices, suggest the trend is finally upon us.

I cut my cable a couple of years ago and it was one of the best decisions I ever made. For all of those weak, yuppie flakes who voted for change and did nothing except maintain the status quo on your pathetic life, try cutting your cable and cutting through the Matrix (w/Alan Watt).
Perhaps you'll learn something and become a healthier and more prosperous citizen. Also, you may wake up the the NWO and motivate to help save this country instead of continuing to be brainwashed by mainstream propaganda, which you've been indoctrinated in since childhood. Fox News

Lane Bryant had been set to launch its campaign for Cacique, its new lingerie line, during “Dancing With the Stars.”
ABC says plus size retailer Lane Bryant’s claims that the network refused to air a commercial featuring a model in lingerie are no more than a fabricated publicity stunt.

The "CBS Evening News" and ABC's "World News" have just closed their worst quarter on record.
The New York Times' Bill Carter takes a look at the first quarter ratings numbers for the network evening news broadcasts, and reports that both Katie Couric's and Diane Sawyer's broadcasts have "sunk to the lowest numbers the [programs have had] in a first quarter since the People Meter was introduced by Nielsen in 1987."
On the other end of the spectrum is NBC, where "Nightly News with Brian Williams" averaged 9.92 million total viewers for its best first quarter average in five years. ABC's "World News with Diane Sawyer" came in second with 8.27 million total viewers, while "CBS Evening News with Katie Couric" placed third with 6.45 million total viewers.
Of course, NBC had the benefit of Olympics coverage during the first quarter, which likely gave a big boost to its news programs as well.
Carter also notes that "World News" is down a modest 3 percent from a year ago, when Charlie Gibson anchored the program. That likely says less about the anchor switch to Diane Sawyer than it does about the first quarter of 2009 — which included coverage of President Obama's inauguration and the first months of his presidency — and NBC's Olympics boost. Indeed, as Carter notes in a blog post, since the Olympics have ended, Sawyer "has been a somewhat closer second to Brian Williams and NBC."

Virginia Madsen Love Scene Causes Casting Change
Virginia Madsen is gorgeous. Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous. Even I, a heterosexual woman, wouldn’t hesitate to act in a love scene with her. After all, there are a lot less attractive women that I could find myself in bed with (if I were an actress), right?
