There isn’t a sanctuary like this anywhere else in the world, with 2,000 dogs, cats, horses, pigs, bunnies, birds, goats and, God only knows what, here on any given day. Once they come into our care, it's a home for life. If they can’t get adopted, they’ll be here living out their days happily with their friends.
Today its founders are still weaving their magic by persuading Hollywood’s hottest stars to adopt The world’s largest no-kill sanctuary, Best Friends provides shelter for homeless and crippled animals and injured wildlife, offers adoption, spay/neuter and educational programmes and has a worldwide membership of 350,000 households donating to the cause. Over 250 people are currently working at the sanctuary, joined by thousands of volunteers every year from around the globe, from college students and grannies to models and bikers.
