A female amateur boxer (and also model) has been banned from competition because she has breast implants. Apparently she's been warned that multiple blows to her chest could damage breast tissue. If White House etiquette is any indication, you should be getting a random hug soon. The Obama family was always cuddly on the campaign trail, and last month the President bestowed no fewer than nine hugs on senior male staffers at a single meeting.
The Hugger in Chief didn't start the trend. At work and at school, even on first introductions--at least among the latest inhabitants of The Real World--the hug is gaining ground on the handshake. There are many iterations, including the hip-hop hug (a manly shake-and-squeeze combo), the ass-out hug (an awkward ordeal that precludes genital contact) and, for someone you're really close to, the full frontal (your standard bear hug). The big squeeze has been on the rise at least since 2006, when the Free Hugs campaign exploded worldwide. It got another boost last year, when hikers from Ohio and Pennsylvania started the Hugs for Humanity project, walking across America to deliver a million hugs. And yet another when John McCain and Sarah Palin embraced, however stiffly, at campaign rallies.

Make Lucious Eco-Love
OK, so you've reduced the amount of waste you produce, reuse things whenever you can, and recycle them when you can't. You've bought organic cotton sheets. What about going green between the sheets?
The ethical hedonism trend is growing. Eco-sex is hot -- and you can be, too -- by converging sexiness, style and ecological sustainability. Environmental activist group Greenpeace says "you can be a bomb in bed without nuking the planet" and has released a Guide to Environmentally-Friendly Sex to that lists strategies for "getting it on for the good of the planet."Make Lucious Eco-Love

The British reality TV celebrity Jade Goody has been told that doctors cannot treat her cancer and she has only months to live. The medical team treating her cervical cancer told Ms Goody that it has spread and they will now focus on treating the symptoms.
The Times reported that Jade will tie the knot with Jack Tweed on Sunday in Hertfordshire. Speaking to reporters outside London's Royal Marsden hospital and confined to a wheel chair, Ms Goody said she hoped to be able"walk down the aisle" herself. She also said she wanted not to get married in the hospital saying " I will die in this hospital".
Jade Goody sprung to notoriety in her appearance on Big Brother in 2002 during which she became famous for her comments showing a lack of basic literacy and knowledge of geography. She appeared on the Celebrity Big Brother version in 2007 and was widely condemned for her racist bullying of the Indian film star Shila Shetty. She made many public apologies for her behavior afterwards. As well as appearing in countless reality TV and entertainment shows, she has also launched a fragrance and owned a salon. She also wrote several books and brought out workout DVD's.
Jade was told of her diagnosis with cancer whilst she was a contestant on Indian Idol in an effort to remedy some of the negative publicity from her appearance on Celebrity Big Brother. She left the programme and returned to the UK to begin treatment. Photographed recently suffering from the effects of chemotherapy, Ms Goody has lost all of her hair.
Weeks ago news paper reports surfaced saying she only had a 40 per cent chance of survival, doctors have now told her that she will almost certainly be dead in a few months. She has been followed around by a camera crew for a new documentary series over the last few weeks who have been following her battle against cancer.
Ms Goody's publicist, Max Clifford, has helped the star raise money lately by selling rights and access to her last months to newspapers, magazines and TV companies. She is continuing media engagements and public appearances at this time to make money for her children's future. Since news of her cervical cancer broke, the number of young women asking for cervical smear tests has risen sharply.
Jade Goody will leave behind two children: Bobby, 5, and Freddie, 4. She is 27.

Reality TV and our shallow celebrity culture claiming its first very public victim? Is it right for the same vicious editors and hacks who dragged her down and reported her in a negative light one minute only to hold her up again months later to now follow her her slow painful premature death? A man was arrested for performing a sex act on himself, wait for it...inside of a dumpster. How TRASHY! Added bonus: the Wisconsin police reportedly found the man inside a trash can outside of an elementary school parking lot (an “eww” on a whole other level). Whether you like it or not, leggings are back... well, they never really left. But now they're being fashioned in all sorts of materials, colours, and utilities (with pockets? how nifty!) I used to hate them, and I'm pretty sure I still hate the metallic ones, as I've yet to see them make even the best pair of legs look hot. Seriously. Nobody needs shiny legs. But now I secretly want a good pair that won't become sheer and expose my bum when I bend over. I wonder if they're more popular over here in the UK than the US though. Ladies (and men, if you are so bold) let us know what you think about this fashion trend!Whether you like it or not, leggings are back... well, they never really left. But now... more

According to New Zealand scientists cornflakes, biscuits and soft drinks may be as addictive as cigarettes and are in danger of advertising bans, strict regulations, high taxes and health warning labels.
Scientists have reviewed evidence showing compulsive eating has similar brain mechanisms as drug dependence, and argue that heavily processed carbohydrates have the most potential to cause addiction.

I’m afraid that young people aren’t kissing as much as they used to, especially during sex. Porn is now the primary form of sex ed for young men, and they’re mimicking those behaviors in their own lives. What kissing I did find online was strange, almost reptilian. I learned that this is called pornkissing. Turns out that research demonstrates that men and women view kissing very differently.I’m afraid that young people aren’t kissing as much as they used to,... more

We often hear figures about the discrepancy between how often men and women have orgasms, with men getting off a heck of a lot more than women. According to some new research, women come only 80% as often as men if they're in relationships, and the rate drops to 50% if we're talking about repeated hookups, and only 30% for one-time shags. So what gives? Some might say it's because women need a bit more TLC to get off, but this study shows it's actually that men just aren't trying that hard.
This "orgasm gap" seems to stem from the idea that men may be less likely to care about getting their women to orgasm based on how important the relationship is to them. Funny I always thought that men got a little ego boost when they got girls off, but apparently they're more concerned about their own personal investments and returns.
An interesting quote from Michael Kimmel, author of Guyland, who compares sex to housework: "Men don't pull their weight on either front because no one makes them."
So, ladies... it's time to stop letting guys get away for lazy lays. We need to stop letting them get away with sexual selfishness. We often hear figures about the discrepancy between how often men and women have... more
