A 22 year old from Bridgenorth uploaded a video to youtube of him being towed along a country lane on a go kart. News reports are saying he's going 40mph which seems a bit steep to me but makes a good headline;). This is an edit from the World Rolling Series (WRS) held at Rampworx skatepark in Liverpool on 29th and 30th May. This not only brought every Pro rollerblader from across the world to Liverpool for the weekend it stamped UK's and Razor skates pro rider Chaz Sands name into rolling history forever by making the Chaz Sands Invitational part of the WRS which is now the official circuit in which pro's and ams compete.
Some of the tricks that went down were ridiculous and 16 year old Julian Cudot scared everyone by beating Brian Aragon, Chris Haffey, Franky Morales, Montre Livingston and everyone at the comp to take 1st place.
Although there was a bit of controversy around the win, you can't deny some of the tricks this kid is pulling are ridiculous and he's gonna be cleaning up in a few years. HM Plant Honda's John McGuinness raised the TT Superbike practice lap bar to 130.171mph tonight despite head-butting his screen after going over Ballaugh Bridge too quickly and shattering it.
McGuinness is only 1.5s off the outright lap record, which he also holds, and his lap tonight is the Superbike lap record, but it yet to be officially ratified by the stewards.
The Lancastrian set a fairly pedestrian opening lap of 126.391mph after getting stuck behind some slower riders on the approach to Sulby which meant his first lap through the speed-trap was only 158.600mph.
However, the first flying lap saw McGuinness wind the wick up and equal his Sulby speed from yesterday at 191.200, which comes after Ballaugh, so he had no protection from the wind for the rest of the lap, which was two miles an hour faster than next best man Hydrex Honda's Guy Martin.HM Plant Honda's John McGuinness raised the TT Superbike practice lap bar to... more
