Early on in the listless romantic comedy “Something Borrowed,” John (“The Office”) Krasinski’s character Ethan, attending a Hamptons weekend getaway with several acquaintances he clearly doesn’t care for, runs through a sequence of expressions suggesting just how much he’d rather be elsewhere.
Likely, any dude who gets dragged to this unengaging feature by his date will share the same sentiments. Yet it is also hard to imagine even those fond of the genre taking this one to heart.

It was a crowded field for actresses this awards season -- in a different year, Hilary Swank might have expected a Golden Globe or Oscar nomination for her portrayal of Betty Anne Waters in Conviction, the story of a woman determined to free her brother from prison. But any awards nomination is gold for Swank, so long as it gets the word out about the film and its message.

Ginnifer Goodwin claimed that she started Weight Watchers 23 years ago, age nine. Since a policy change in 2003, the company now claim it’s potentially dangerous for children under 10 to join.

Kate Hudson, John Krasinski, Ginnifer Goodwin, Chloe Sevigny but most important a shirtless Colin Egglesfield are on the set of Something Borrowed in New York City.
Apparently Colin sparked rumours of an onset relationship with costar Ginnifer when he told PopEater he bought her a necklace:
“She’s a sweetheart… She’s someone I’m really fond of. (I bought her) a very special gift… It’s the key to joy.”
Damn. Hot, sexy and thoughtful. But apparently Ginnifer’s reps have blasted those rumours saying they are totally false. Not saying the rumours are accurate but I really doubt the reps are going to confirm them even if they were true.
