Three Mile Island was the first point where the 1st accident of nuclear meltdown happened. Three Mile Island is situated in the USA and the accident was happened in 1979. There are two accidents in the history associated with this name. The second accident was happened in Chernoby, Ukrain after the seven year of first accidents. On March 28, 1979 the accident was started at 4am with the failure in the non-nuclear secondary system. The Chernobyl disaster was a 1986 nuclear reactor accident at the Chernobyl Nuclear Power Plant in the Ukraine, then part of the Soviet Union. The worst nuclear power plant disaster in history, it resulted in 56 direct deaths and perhaps 4,000 additional deaths from cancer.
“This Momentary” is a documentary short film that brings us back to Chernobyl, showing us the place today and the people who still live there. The film shows the abandoned town near the power plant, the abandoned villages where many elderly people still live and the towns where people were relocated. It attempts to show the humanity of the people and capture little moments in their lives in a composed and photographic way.
