White Knight Chronicles (International Edition) is a Role Playing Game developed by the brilliant minds at Level-5. Expectations are very high and it’s for a good reason. Level-5 are the developers behind great games such as Dark Cloud, Jeanne d’Arc, and Dragon Quest VIII.
In Japan, White Knight Chronicles was originally released on Christmas day in 2008. It took over a year to localize the game and many improvements have been made since its initial release.

Christmas will have come and gone in January, but doesn’t mean you can stop spending money! White Knight Chronicles has been on my radar for quite some time now, as it’s released already in Japan over a year ago. There has been quite a lot of time and effort being put into localizing it for the North American release. Aside from the obvious hours-long venture into the story experience, what I find worth talking about that sets White Knight Chronicles apart from every other JRPG is it’s one of the only JRPGs to feature online content.

With the first game still trying to find its way onto US soil, Japanese Magazine Famitsu has revealed that Level-5 is working on the next game in the series. The game will be titled Shirokishi Monogatari: Hikari to Yami no Kakusei which roughly translates to White Knight Chronicles: Awakening of Light and Darkness.
