The title doesn't quite sell how cool this is, but a tool on google shows how often a word like 'fuck' (had to be a swear word first) was used in books from 1600-2008. According to the link made by a redditor, the words peak was in 1700s.
However, the word duck hit a peak in 1950 and is slowly on the rise as a frequently used word.
It's quite a fun tool and it lets use use words from a selection of languages.
