A mere two weeks after every network passed on it, David E. Kelley's Wonder Woman has been lassoed in by NBC. The pilot features Diana Prince as a harried crime fighter/corporate executive saving Los Angeles from itself.
Said Deadline of NBC's pilot season pick-up of the show:
The project is described as a reinvention of the iconic D.C. comic in which Wonder Woman — aka Diana Prince — is a vigilante crime fighter in L.A. but also a successful corporate executive and a modern woman trying to balance all of the elements of her extraordinary life. "I had a lot of fun writing it," Kelley said of the script at TCA last week when the project had just been put on hold. "It's a huge project, and it was probably a bit too much to ask anyone to try to chew on it for next season. But I'm confident it will still happen. It's a very complicated piece, which is the most fun thing about it."
It's still too early to jump to conclusions, but given the synopsis' emphasis on vigilantism rather than superheroics, I'd wager the show will feature her current leather jacket in DC Comics instead of Lynda Carter's iconic bustier-and-go-go-boots outfit. Also, are we going to see a crossover with The Cape (assuming the latter inexplicably becomes a cultural juggernaut between now and May)?

An important symbol of South London and a key feature of the city’s skyline, the Battersea Power Station, has been left to decay for more than twenty years. Created by Gilbert Scott in 1935, the building has slowly rotted away after both station’s A and B were decommissioned in 1975 and 1983 respectively. The much-loved monument is listed on the English Heritage’s “Buildings at Risk” register.

August 15 marks the end of the Blessed Virgin Mary's earthly life and the assumption of her body and soul into heaven.
We all have read about the many sightings of the Holy Mother over the years, but what do you do when an image of her miraculously appears in a glass you once used for coffee? Share it with others!
With the recent downturn in the economy many of us are in need of a miracle. Then again, we're always in need of miracles, or at least in need of proof that miracles are possible. What is a miracle?
Many people that have seen this glass in person, have described themselves as getting chills and having the hair on the back of their necks stand up. Others have commented on the bluish hue (aura) that can be clearly seen surrounding the image.
