Former President Bill Clinton and Vice President Al Gore appeared Saturday Aug. 29. 2009 at the Tennessee Democratic Party’s Jackson Day Dinner just hours after Sen. Ted Kennedy’s funeral. Many Democrats who attended Kennedy’s funeral were reminded of his legacy of working to expand health care coverage and vowed to renew their push for health care reform.
