The eagle eyes of paparazzi have caught what's underneath Rihanna's sheer black dress. The singer attended a New Year's Eve bash thrown by rapper P. Diddy in Miami and all attention was directed to her right nipple.Rihanna showed off a nipple ring through the see-through dress. It is not clear whether she intended people to notice it or it was simply a wardrobe malfunction like Mirror claimed. After that night Rihanna tweeted, "Fyi, we gotta find me somebody to kiss @ midnight by next NYE!!!! Melissa didn't cut it for me lastnt.

Wow can you say shocker, the National Enquirer got their hands on some of the details included in Joe McGinniss's new book, The Rogue: Searching for the Real Sarah Palin, an unauthorized biography of former Vice Presidential candidate Sarah Palin. And while there is sure to be plenty of crazy stuff in the book when it comes out next week, one of the more ridiculous details revealed by the Enquirer stood out to us from all the rest. A 290-pound man is suing the White Castle fast food chain because, he claims, their seats aren't built for a person of his size. Stock broker Martin Kessman took legal action last week, 2 years after complaining to the corporate office about the size of the stationary booths at White Castle's Nanuet, N.Y., location. According to the Kessman, White Castle responded with three "very condescending letters," each of which included a coupon for three free hamburgers, but "the cheese was extra," he notes in his lawsuit. White Castle also sent Kessman plans for for how they were going to modify their booths, but no adjustments had been made as of last week. Kessman's beef is unique to White Castle -- he claims to have no issue with seating at other fast-food establishments or on airplanes.

The last recorded footage of Amy Winehouse before her unfortunate death was a studio session with the legendary Tony Bennett. The duo came together at the historic Abbey Road Studios in London to record their collabo, “Body Soul.” The song will appear on Tony Bennett’s upcoming compilation album Tony Bennett: Duets II due out September 20. Fans can purchase the song and video via iTunes on September 14th (Amy’s birthday) with proceeds going to The Amy Winehouse Foundation.

Nick Ashford, one-half of the legendary Motown songwriting duo Ashford & Simpson that penned elegant, soulful classics for the likes of Diana Ross and Marvin Gaye and funk hits for Chaka Khan and others, died Monday at age 70, his former publicist said. Ashford, who along with wife Valerie Simpson wrote some of Motown's biggest hits, died in a New York City hospital, said publicist Liz Rosenberg, who was Ashford's longtime friend.
He had been suffering from throat cancer and had undergone radiation treatment, she told The Associated Press. Though they had some of their greatest success at Motown with classics like "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" and "Reach Out And Touch Somebody's Hand" by Ross and "You're All I Need To Get By" by Gaye and Tammi Terrell, Ashford & Simpson also created anthems for others, like "I'm Every Woman" by Khan (and later remade by Whitney Houston). Ashford & Simpson also had success writing for themselves: Perhaps the best-known song they sang was the 1980s hit "Solid As A Rock." "His music is unmatched in terms of great songwriting," Verdine White of Earth, Wind and Fire said after learning of his friend's death.
"They had magic and that's what creates those wonderful hits, that magic," White added. "Without those songs, those artists wouldn't have been able to go to the next level." Others in the music industry also mourned the loss. On Twitter, Alicia Keys wrote, "I'm so sad that he's gone. ... So many of the greatests are going to a greater place ... what a legacy of infectious music ... man!" Ashford and Simpson's relationship stretched more than four decades. They met in 1964 in a New York City church. Ashford, a South Carolina native, had come to the city to pursue a dance career. Simpson was a music student, and after connecting with her, they decided to start to write songs together. "They were always comfortable with each other and they made all of us comfortable, because they were comfortable," White said. Their first major success occurred when they came up with "Let's Go Get Stoned" for Ray Charles. The bluesy, gospel-tinged song became a huge hit for Charles, and soon, they came to the attention of Motown Records and began penning hits for their artists. They started out writing soulful, romantic works for the duo of Gaye and Terrell that would become instant classics, like "Your Precious Love," and "Ain't Nothin' Like The Real Thing." In fact, "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" was originally their hit, until Ross later rerecorded it with a new arrangement that had sweeping pop grandeur and made it her signature song.

Imagine having a gun fired at you, the bullet whizzing toward you at a super-fast speed. But instead of the bullet piercing your skin and traveling deep inside your body, what if it instead repelled off your skin? What sounds like a scenario straight out of a superhero movie or a sci-fi novel could eventually become reality. Scientists have created a skin made with goat's milk packed with spider-silk proteins, according to news reports. Their hope is that they can eventually replace the keratin in human skin -- which makes it tough -- with the spider-silk proteins.
To make the bullet-proof material, Dutch scientists first engineered goats to produce milk that contains proteins from extra-strong spider silk. Then, using the milk from the goats, they spun a bullet-proof material; a layer of real human skin is then grown around that skin, a process that takes five weeks, the Daily Mail reported. "Science-fiction? Maybe, but we can get a feeling of what this transhumanistic idea would be like by letting a bulletproof matrix of spidersilk merge with an in vitro human skin," researcher Jalila Essaidi told the Daily Mail. Does it work? Well, the skin is only able to stop bullets fired at reduced speeds, TechNewsDaily reported.
It was not able to stop a bullet from a .22 caliber rifle shot at a normal speed, which is the required standard for today's bulletproof vests. The skin is currently on display at the National Natural History Museum Naturalis in Leiden, Netherlands, until Jan. 8, 2012, TechNewsDaily reported. More research must be done before this bullet-proof "super skin" can actually be possible to engineer into humans.
