A while ago Congress came up with a solution to control Medicare spending; however, the solution only solves the problem temporarily. “It sets spending targets. If they’re not met, fees paid to doctors, hospitals and nursing homes automatically are cut,” reports the Houston Chronicle. Currently, there are millions of Americans that are uninsured or uninsured. As a recent college graduate, I was given the boot from my parents coverage once I got my diploma. But imagine not even getting the chance to get on your parents insurance. That's exactly what's happening to Baby Alex in Colorado. This two month old is being denied health care coverage by his mother's insurer because he's in the 99th percentile for his height and weight, even though he is a healthy baby.
